The entire git history for this driver looks like tree-wide
and automated cleanups. There's even more coming now with
AI, so let's try to delete it instead.

serial: drop SERIAL_8250_DEPRECATED_OPTIONS

In 3.7, 8250 was unintentionally renamed to 8250_core. This happened in
the commit 835d844d1a28 (8250_pnp: do pnp probe before legacy probe).
This made 8250. module options effectively defunct. Instead,
8250_core. worked.

In 3.9, the commit f2b8dfd9e480 (serial: 8250: Keep 8250. module
options functional after driver rename) made the original options work
again by introducing a hack.

Later in 3.9, the commit 9196d8acd7f9 (TTY: 8250, revert module name
change) changed the module name back to 8250 (from 8250_core). Since
then, the hack was there to support the transient 8250_core.
options. Those were present only in the 3.7..3.9 range.

These transient options were deprecated by 9326b047e4fd (TTY: 8250,
deprecated 8250_core.* options) in v3.9 too.

Now, after those 12 years, it is time to get rid of this hack
completely.

lib/crypto: powerpc/sha1: Migrate optimized code into library

Instead of exposing the powerpc-optimized SHA-1 code via
powerpc-specific crypto_shash algorithms, instead just implement the
sha1_blocks() library function.  This is much simpler, it makes the
SHA-1 library functions be powerpc-optimized, and it fixes the
longstanding issue where the powerpc-optimized SHA-1 code was disabled
by default.  SHA-1 still remains available through crypto_shash, but
individual architectures no longer need to handle it.

Note: to see the diff from arch/powerpc/crypto/sha1-spe-glue.c to
lib/crypto/powerpc/sha1.h, view this commit with 'git show -M10'.

powerpc/configs: Remove ReiserFS from defconfig

ReiserFS has been deprecated for a year and a half, yet is still built
as part of a defconfig kernel.

According to commit eb103a51640e ("reiserfs: Deprecate reiserfs"), the
filesystem is slated to be removed in 2025. Remove it from the defconfig
profiles now, as part of its deprecation process.

arch//configs/defconfig: Replace AUTOFS4_FS by AUTOFS_FS

Commit a2225d931f75 ("autofs: remove left-over autofs4 stubs")
promised the removal of the fs/autofs/Kconfig fragment for AUTOFS4_FS
within a couple of releases, but five years later this still has not
happened yet, and AUTOFS4_FS is still enabled in 63 defconfigs.

Get rid of it mechanically:

   git grep -l CONFIG_AUTOFS4_FS -- '*defconfig' |
       xargs sed -i 's/AUTOFS4_FS/AUTOFS_FS/'

Also just remove the AUTOFS4_FS config option stub.  Anybody who hasn't
regenerated their config file in the last five years will need to just
get the new name right when they do.

powerpc: Restore CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO in defconfigs

Commit f9b3cd245784 ("Kconfig.debug: make DEBUG_INFO selectable from a
choice") broke the selection of CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO by powerpc defconfigs.

It is now necessary to select one of the three DEBUG_INFO_DWARF*
options to get DEBUG_INFO enabled.

Replace DEBUG_INFO=y by DEBUG_INFO_DWARF_TOOLCHAIN_DEFAULT=y in all
defconfigs using the following command:

sed -i s/DEBUG_INFO=y/DEBUG_INFO_DWARF_TOOLCHAIN_DEFAULT=y/g `git grep -l DEBUG_INFO arch/powerpc/configs/`

xsysace: Remove SYSACE driver

Sysace IP is no longer used on Xilinx PowerPC 405/440 and Microblaze
systems. The driver is not regularly tested and very likely not working for
quite a long time that's why remove it.
