We weren't storing the currently-transmitting skb, so we were never unmapping it and never freeing/popping it when the TX was done. And the addition of pci_set_master() is fairly self-explanatory. This was unsafe because matching is not an atomic operation with probing a driver. If two or more drivers are attempted to be matched to a driver at the same time, then the cached matching entry pointer could get overwritten.
