Pull vfs pile (part one) from Al Viro:
 "Assorted stuff - cleaning namei.c up a bit, fixing ->d_name/->d_parent
  locking violations, etc.

  The most visible changes here are death of FS_REVAL_DOT (replaced with
  "has ->d_weak_revalidate()") and a new helper getting from struct file
  to inode.  Some bits of preparation to xattr method interface changes.

  Misc patches by various people sent this cycle *and* ocfs2 fixes from
  several cycles ago that should've been upstream right then.

ACPI: Remove useless type argument of driver .remove() operation

The second argument of ACPI driver .remove() operation is only used
by the ACPI processor driver and the value passed to that driver
through it is always available from the given struct acpi_device
object's removal_type field.  For this reason, the second ACPI driver
.remove() argument is in fact useless, so drop it.

This will fix warnings like following when CONFIG_PM_SLEEP is not set:

        warning: 'xxx_suspend' defined but not used [-Wunused-function]
        warning: 'xxx_resume' defined but not used [-Wunused-function]

Because
	SET_SYSTEM_SLEEP_PM_OPS(suspend_fn, resume_fn)

Only references the callbacks on CONFIG_PM_SLEEP (instead of CONFIG_PM).

workqueue: deprecate flush[_delayed]_work_sync()

flush[_delayed]_work_sync() are now spurious.  Mark them deprecated
and convert all users to flush[_delayed]_work().

If you're cc'd and wondering what's going on: Now all workqueues are
non-reentrant and the regular flushes guarantee that the work item is
not pending or running on any CPU on return, so there's no reason to
use the sync flushes at all and they're going away.

This patch doesn't make any functional difference.

sonypi: Use struct dev_pm_ops for power management
