<title>drm: Rename struct drm_atomic_state to drm_atomic_commit</title>

The KMS framework uses two slightly different definitions for the state
concept. For a given object (plane, CRTC, encoder, etc., so
drm_$OBJECT_state), the state is the entire state of that object.
However, at the device level, drm_atomic_state refers to a state update
for a limited number of objects.

Thus, drm_atomic_state isn't the entire device state, but only the full
state of some objects in that device. This has been an endless source of
confusion and thus bugs.

We can rename the drm_atomic_state structure to drm_atomic_commit to
make it less confusing.

This patch was created using:

rg -l drm_atomic_state | \
	xargs sed -i 's/drm_atomic_state/drm_atomic_commit/g; s/drm_atomic_commit_helper/drm_atomic_state_helper/g'
mv drivers/gpu/drm/tests/drm_atomic_state_test.c drivers/gpu/drm/tests/drm_atomic_commit_test.c

of_drm_find_bridge() is deprecated. Move to its replacement
of_drm_find_and_get_bridge() which gets a bridge reference, and ensure it
is put when done.

omapdss_device_init_output() can take one bridge pointer in out-&gt;bridge or
two pointers in out-&gt;bridge and out-&gt;next_bridge. Ensure each has a
corresponding drm_bridge_get() and add drm_bridge_put() calls in the
cleanup code.

Also slightly change the initial code assigning out-&gt;panel and out-&gt;bridge
to ensure and clarify that either out-&gt;panel or out-&gt;bridge is set in the
function prologue, not both. If both were set, the 'if (out-&gt;panel){...}'
code that follows would overwrite out-&gt;bridge without having put the
reference.

Finally, take a reference in case a panel_bridge is added using
drm_panel_bridge_add(). This ensures we always need to put a reference,
which came either from of_drm_find_and_get_bridge() or by the
drm_panel_bridge_add+drm_bridge_get() branch.

<title>Convert 'alloc_obj' family to use the new default GFP_KERNEL argument</title>

This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using

    git grep -l '\&lt;k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
        xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'

to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.

Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.

For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)

Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)

Flex array allocations:	kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)

(where TYPE may also be *VAR)

The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

The thread sanitizer makes the stack usage explode from extra variable
spills in dispc_runtime_resume:

drivers/gpu/drm/omapdrm/dss/dispc.c:4735:27: error: stack frame size (1824) exceeds limit (1280) in 'dispc_runtime_resume' [-Werror,-Wframe-larger-than]

Switching from a non-devm to a devm allocation allows removing the kfree()
