cputemp_is_visible() validates the channel index against
CPUTEMP_CHANNEL_NUMS, but currently uses '&gt;' instead of '&gt;='.
As a result, channel == CPUTEMP_CHANNEL_NUMS is not rejected even though
valid indices are 0 .. CPUTEMP_CHANNEL_NUMS - 1.

Fix the bounds check by using '&gt;=' so invalid channel indices are
rejected before indexing the core bitmap.

The hwmon sysfs ABI expects tempN_crit_hyst to report the temperature at
which the critical condition clears, not the hysteresis delta from the
critical limit.

The peci cputemp driver currently returns tjmax - tcontrol for
crit_hyst_type, which is the hysteresis margin rather than the
corresponding absolute temperature.

Return tcontrol directly, and update the documentation accordingly.

Extend the functionality of hwmon (peci/dimmtemp) for Emerald Rapids
platform.

The patch has been tested on a 5S system with 16 DIMMs installed.
Verified read of DIMM temperature thresholds &amp; temperature.

Using Sapphire's callbacks about getting thresholds because it's same
platform/socket.

When an Icelake or Sapphire Rapids CPU isn't providing the maximum and
critical thresholds for particular DIMM the driver should return an
error to the userspace instead of giving it stale (best case) or wrong
(the structure contains all zeros after kzalloc() call) data.

The issue can be reproduced by binding the peci driver while the host is
fully booted and idle, this makes PECI interaction unreliable enough.

The PECI CPU sensors are available as soon as the CPU is powered,
however the PECI DIMM sensors are available after DRAM has been
trained and thresholds have been written by host firmware.

The default timeout of 30 seconds isn't enough for modern multisocket
platforms utilizing DDR5 memory to bring up the memory and enable PECI
sensor data.
Bump the default timeout to 10 minutes in case the system starts
without cached DDR5 training data.
