hwmon: (vt8231) Convert macros to functions to avoid TOCTOU

The macro FAN_FROM_REG evaluates its arguments multiple times. When used
with shared driver data, this leads to Time-of-Check to Time-of-Use
(TOCTOU) race conditions, potentially causing divide-by-zero errors.

Convert the macro to a static function to ensure arguments are evaluated
only once.

Additionally, in fan_div_store, move the reading of the old register
value and the calculation of the minimum limit inside the update lock.
This ensures that the read-modify-write sequence operates on consistent
data, preventing race conditions during fan divider updates.

hwmon: Switch back to struct platform_driver::remove()

After commit 0edb555a65d1 ("platform: Make platform_driver::remove()
return void") .remove() is (again) the right callback to implement for
platform drivers.

Convert all platform drivers below drivers/hwmonto use .remove(), with
the eventual goal to drop struct platform_driver::remove_new(). As
.remove() and .remove_new() have the same prototypes, conversion is done
by just changing the structure member name in the driver initializer.

While touching these files, make indention of the struct initializer
consistent in several files.

hwmon: (vt8231) Convert to platform remove callback returning void

The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes
many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by
returning an error code. However the value returned is ignored (apart
from emitting a warning) and this typically results in resource leaks.
To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return
void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to
.remove_new() which already returns void. Eventually after all drivers
are converted, .remove_new() is renamed to .remove().

Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove
callback to the void returning variant.

hwmon: (vt8231) Introduce a #define for the driver name and use it

Make use of the cpp symbol DRIVER_NAME to set the driver's name and use
it instead of all explicit usages of the same string. Also make use of
it instead of vt8231_driver.driver.name which breaks a cyclic dependency
between vt8231_probe() and vt8231_driver that in the next commit allows
to drop some forward declarations.

hwmon: cleanup non-bool "valid" data fields

We have bool so use it consistently in all the drivers.

The following Coccinelle script was used:

Few whitespace changes were fixed manually. All modified drivers were
compile-tested.

hwmon: (i5k_amb, vt8231) Drop uses of pci_read_config_*() return value

The return value of pci_read_config_*() may not indicate a device error.
However, the value read by these functions is more likely to indicate
this kind of error. This presents two overlapping ways of reporting
errors and complicates error checking.

It is possible to move to one single way of checking for error if the
dependency on the return value of these functions is removed, then it
can later be made to return void.

Remove all uses of the return value of pci_read_config_*().
Check the actual value read for ~0. In this case, ~0 is an invalid
value thus it indicates some kind of error.
