go7007_register_encoder() sets go->audio_enabled before calling
go7007_snd_init() and discards its return value. go7007_snd_init()
assigns go->snd_context only on success, so a failed ALSA setup leaves
audio_enabled set with snd_context still NULL. The disconnect path tests
audio_enabled and calls go7007_snd_remove(), which dereferences
snd_context unconditionally.

go7007_snd_init() returns -ENODEV once its never-decremented static card
counter reaches SNDRV_CARDS, so SNDRV_CARDS attach/detach cycles arm the
next attach; no memory pressure is needed.

Set go->audio_enabled only once go7007_snd_init() has succeeded.

USB probe failures after I2C adapter registration free the backing
go7007 structure without unregistering the adapter.

If i2c_adapter_online is set, unregister the adapter before releasing
USB resources so that I2C client removal can still use its callbacks.

This issue was identified during our ongoing static-analysis research
while reviewing kernel code.

Add a pointer to const struct v4l2_subdev_client_info to the get_fmt,
set_fmt, get_selection and set_selection sub-device pad ops. The client
info struct will soon be used to differentiate UAPI based on client
capabilities.

go7007_usb_i2c_master_xfer() copies msgs[i].len bytes into go->usb_buf,
a 16-byte buffer embedded in struct go7007, without any length check.
The adapter declares no transfer limits, so an SMBus block transfer
issued through /dev/i2c-N can write up to 34 bytes into it and corrupt
the struct fields that follow the buffer.

Bound the transfer size with i2c_adapter_quirks so the I2C core
rejects oversized messages before they reach the driver.

The brightness and contrast paths use oldvalue after read_reg_fp()
without checking whether the read succeeded. A failed read leaves
oldvalue uninitialized and can write arbitrary reserved register bits.

Return read and write errors from every control path so failed hardware
access cannot be reported as a successful control update.

In go7007_register_encoder(), if any step after
v4l2_device_register() fails (go7007_init_encoder,
go7007_v4l2_ctrl_init, go7007_i2c_init, go7007_v4l2_init), the
function returns directly without cleanup, leaking the registered
V4L2 device and the control handler (if already initialized).

Add cascade error labels that properly release resources according
to how far initialization has progressed:
- err_free_controls: frees the control handler
- err_unregister_v4l2_dev: unregisters the V4L2 device (reached
 from any failure after v4l2_device_register)

go7007_snd_init() already takes a v4l2_device reference for the ALSA
side, but go7007_snd_remove() drops it immediately after calling
snd_card_free_when_closed().

That is too early when a userspace process still has the capture PCM open.
The ALSA card and its PCM callbacks remain alive until the last file is
closed, so the release path can still reach struct go7007 through
pcm->private_data and call go7007_snd_hw_free() after the V4L2 release path
has freed the object.

Move the matching v4l2_device_put() to the ALSA card private_free callback
so the existing ALSA reference covers the whole deferred card lifetime.

The byte-alignment paths can call CODE_ADD() with a zero bit
length. The macro then shifts an int by name.b, which can be 32
after the preceding bit was flushed.

vti_bitlen() can likewise shift a signed int into its sign bit while
searching for the bit length, and the package mask construction can
shift by the full type width.

Make zero-length additions a no-op, derive the bit length with fls(),
and build the mask with GENMASK().

While being less compact, using named initializers allows to more easily
see which members of the structs are assigned which value without having
to lookup the declaration of the struct. And it's also more robust
against changes to the struct definition.

The mentioned robustness is relevant for a planned change to struct
i2c_device_id that replaces .driver_data by an anonymous union.

While touching all these arrays, unify usage of whitespace and commas.

This patch doesn't modify the compiled arrays, only their representation
in source form benefits. The former was confirmed with x86 and arm64
builds.

Driver core holds a reference to the USB interface and its parent USB
device while the interface is bound to a driver and there is no need to
take additional references unless the structures are needed after
disconnect.

Drop the redundant device reference to reduce cargo culting, make it
easier to spot drivers where an extra reference is needed, and reduce
the risk of memory leaks when drivers fail to release it.
