tty: use u8 for flags

This makes all those 'char's an explicit 'u8'. This is part of the
continuing unification of chars and flags to be consistent u8.

This approaches tty_port_default_receive_buf().

Note that we do not change signedness as we compile with
-funsigned-char.

tty: make tty_ldisc_ops::buf() hooks operate on size_t

Count passed to tty_ldisc_ops::receive_buf*(), ::lookahead_buf(), and
returned from ::receive_buf2() is expected to be size_t. So set it to
size_t to unify with the rest of the code.

the function netif_rx() can be used in preemptible/thread context as
well as in interrupt context.

net: caif: fix memory leak in ldisc_open

Syzbot reported memory leak in tty_init_dev().
The problem was in unputted tty in ldisc_open()

Ser pointer is netdev private_data, so after free_netdev()
this pointer goes away with unputted tty reference. So, fix
it by adding tty_kref_put() before freeing netdev.

net: caif: remove BUG_ON(dev == NULL) in caif_xmit

The condition of dev == NULL is impossible in caif_xmit(), hence it is
for the removal.

Explanation:
The static caif_xmit() is only called upon via a function pointer
`ndo_start_xmit` defined in include/linux/netdevice.h:

In each of the enumerated scenarios, it is impossible for the NULL-valued dev to
reach the caif_xmit() without crashing the kernel earlier, therefore `BUG_ON(dev ==
NULL)` is rather useless, hence the removal.

Revert "net: caif: replace BUG_ON with recovery code"

This reverts commit c5dea815834c7d2e9fc633785455bc428b7a1956.

Because of recent interactions with developers from @umn.edu, all
commits from them have been recently re-reviewed to ensure if they were
correct or not.

Upon review, this commit was found to be incorrect for the reasons
below, so it must be reverted.  It will be fixed up "correctly" in a
later kernel change.

The original change here was pointless as dev can never be NULL in this
function so the claim in the changelog that this "fixes" anything is
incorrect (also the developer forgot about panic_on_warn).  A follow-up
change will resolve this issue properly.

tty: make tty_ldisc_ops a param in tty_unregister_ldisc

Make tty_unregister_ldisc symmetric to tty_register_ldisc by accepting
struct tty_ldisc_ops as a parameter instead of ldisc number. This avoids
checking of the ldisc number bounds in tty_unregister_ldisc.
