When we unload the ep93xx_eth, whether we have opened the network
interface or not, we will either hit a kernel paging request error, or a
simple NULL pointer de-reference because:

- if ep93xx_open has been called, we have created a valid DMA mapping
  for ep->descs, when we call ep93xx_stop, we also call
  ep93xx_free_buffers, ep->descs now has a stale value

- if ep93xx_open has not been called, we have a NULL pointer for
  ep->descs, so performing any operation against that address just won't
  work

Fix this by adding a NULL pointer check for ep->descs which means that
ep93xx_free_buffers() was able to successfully tear down the descriptors
and free the DMA cookie as well.

This howto made sense in the 1990s when users had to manually configure
ISA cards with jumpers or vendor utilities, but with the implementation
of PCI it became increasingly less and less relevant, to the point where
it has been well over a decade since I last updated it.  And there is
no value in anyone else taking over updating it either.

However the references to it continue to spread as boiler plate text
from one Kconfig file into the next.  We are not doing end users any
favours by pointing them at this old document, so lets kill it with
fire, once and for all, to hopefully stop any further spread.

No code is changed in this commit, just Kconfig help text.

The net/core/dev.c conflict was the overlap of one commit marking an
existing function static whilst another was adding a new function.

In the include/linux/if_vlan.h case, the type used for a local
variable was changed in 'net', whereas the function got rewritten
to fix a stacked vlan bug in 'net-next'.

In drivers/vhost/net.c, Al Viro's iov_iter conversions in 'net-next'
overlapped with an endainness fix for VHOST 1.0 in 'net'.

In drivers/net/vxlan.c, vxlan_find_vni() added a 'flags' parameter
in 'net-next' whereas in 'net' there was a bug fix to pass in the
correct network namespace pointer in calls to this function.

The kfree() function tests whether its argument is NULL and then
returns immediately. Thus the test around the call is not needed.

This issue was detected by using the Coccinelle software.

The cs89x0 driver can either be built as an ISA driver or a platform
driver, the choice is controlled by the CS89x0_PLATFORM Kconfig
symbol. Building the ISA driver on a system that does not have
a way to map I/O ports fails with this error:

drivers/built-in.o: In function `cs89x0_ioport_probe.constprop.1':
:(.init.text+0x4794): undefined reference to `ioport_map'
:(.init.text+0x4830): undefined reference to `ioport_unmap'

This changes the Kconfig logic to take that option away and
always force building the platform variant of this driver if
CONFIG_HAS_IOPORT_MAP is not set. This is the only correct
choice in this case, and it avoids the build error.

Pull driver core update from Greg KH:
 "Here's the set of driver core patches for 3.19-rc1.

  They are dominated by the removal of the .owner field in platform
  drivers.  They touch a lot of files, but they are "simple" changes,
  just removing a line in a structure.

  Other than that, a few minor driver core and debugfs changes.  There
  are some ath9k patches coming in through this tree that have been
  acked by the wireless maintainers as they relied on the debugfs
  changes.

  Everything has been in linux-next for a while"
