<title>ethernet: use net core MTU range checking in more drivers</title>

Somehow, I missed a healthy number of ethernet drivers in the last pass.
Most of these drivers either were in need of an updated max_mtu to make
jumbo frames possible to enable again. In a few cases, also setting a
different min_mtu to match previous lower bounds. There are also a few
drivers that had no upper bounds checking, so they're getting a brand new
ETH_MAX_MTU that is identical to IP_MAX_MTU, but accessible by includes
all ethernet and ethernet-like drivers all have already.

acenic:
- min_mtu = 0, max_mtu = 9000

amazon/ena:
- min_mtu = 128, max_mtu = adapter-&gt;max_mtu

amd/xgbe:
- min_mtu = 0, max_mtu = 9000

sb1250:
- min_mtu = 0, max_mtu = 1518

cxgb3:
- min_mtu = 81, max_mtu = 65535

cxgb4:
- min_mtu = 81, max_mtu = 9600

cxgb4vf:
- min_mtu = 81, max_mtu = 65535

benet:
- min_mtu = 256, max_mtu = 9000

ibmveth:
- min_mtu = 68, max_mtu = 65535

ibmvnic:
- min_mtu = adapter-&gt;min_mtu, max_mtu = adapter-&gt;max_mtu
- remove now redundant ibmvnic_change_mtu

jme:
- min_mtu = 1280, max_mtu = 9202

mv643xx_eth:
- min_mtu = 64, max_mtu = 9500

mlxsw:
- min_mtu = 0, max_mtu = 65535
- Basically bypassing the core checks, and instead relying on dynamic
  checks in the respective switch drivers' ndo_change_mtu functions

ns83820:
- min_mtu = 0
- remove redundant ns83820_change_mtu, only checked for mtu &gt; 1500

netxen:
- min_mtu = 0, max_mtu = 8000 (P2), max_mtu = 9600 (P3)

qlge:
- min_mtu = 1500, max_mtu = 9000
- driver only supports setting mtu to 1500 or 9000, so the core check only
  rules out &lt; 1500 and &gt; 9000, qlge_change_mtu still needs to check that
  the value is 1500 or 9000

qualcomm/emac:
- min_mtu = 46, max_mtu = 9194

xilinx_axienet:
- min_mtu = 64, max_mtu = 9000

With centralized MTU checking, there's nothing productive done by
eth_change_mtu that isn't already done in dev_set_mtu, so mark it as
deprecated and remove all usage of it in the kernel. All callers have been
audited for calls to alloc_etherdev* or ether_setup directly, which means
they all have a valid dev-&gt;min_mtu and dev-&gt;max_mtu. Now eth_change_mtu
prints out a netdev_warn about being deprecated, for the benefit of
out-of-tree drivers that might be utilizing it.

Of note, dvb_net.c actually had dev-&gt;mtu = 4096, while using
eth_change_mtu, meaning that if you ever tried changing it's mtu, you
couldn't set it above 1500 anymore. It's now getting dev-&gt;max_mtu also set
to 4096 to remedy that.

The NCSI command packets are sent from MC (Management Controller)
to remote end. They are used for multiple purposes: probe existing
NCSI package/channel, retrieve NCSI channel's capability, configure
NCSI channel etc.

This defines struct to represent NCSI command packets and introduces
function ncsi_xmit_cmd(), which will be used to transmit NCSI command
packet according to the request. The request is represented by struct
ncsi_cmd_arg.

networking standard. Version 0 is still default and the new
version has to be selected via iproute2.

Networking), a protocol, encapsualtion and synchronization to utilize
standard networks for audio/video (and later other time-sensitive)
streams.

This standard uses ethertype 0x22F0.

DSA is currently registering one packet_type function per EtherType it
needs to intercept in the receive path of a DSA-enabled Ethernet device.
Right now we have three of them: trailer, DSA and eDSA, and there might
be more in the future, this will not scale to the addition of new
protocols.

This patch proceeds with adding a new layer of abstraction and two new
functions:

dsa_switch_rcv() which will dispatch into the tag-protocol specific
receive function implemented by net/dsa/tag_*.c

dsa_slave_xmit() which will dispatch into the tag-protocol specific
transmit function implemented by net/dsa/tag_*.c

When we do create the per-port slave network devices, we iterate over
the switch protocol to assign the DSA-specific receive and transmit
operations.

A new fake ethertype value is used: ETH_P_XDSA to illustrate the fact
that this is no longer going to look like ETH_P_DSA or ETH_P_TRAILER
like it used to be.

This allows us to greatly simplify the check in eth_type_trans() and
always override the skb-&gt;protocol with ETH_P_XDSA for Ethernet switches
tagged protocol, while also reducing the number repetitive slave
netdevice_ops assignments.

Per IEEE 802.3*, the correct packet type for loopback 0x9000. There's
already one ETH_P_LOOP 0x0060, which has been there for ages, however it's
plainly wrong as anything that small is considered a length field.

We can't remove it because legacy, so add a new type which corresponds to
the correct id.

Add the Ethertype for IEEE Std 802.21 - Media Independent Handover
Protocol. This Ethertype is used for network control messages.

<title>net: order MPLS ethertypes numerically</title>

All ethertypes other than ETH_P_MPLS_UC, ETH_P_MPLS_MC and
ETH_P_ATMMPOA were already ordered numerically.  This commit moves
those three ETH_P_... values into correct numerical order too.
