In the function l5_test(), variable $tests is empty when there is no .mk
file in the subsystem to be tested. It causes the following grep operation
get stuck.

This fix check the variable $tests, return when it is empty.

This patch fixes inconsistencies in the parsing rules of the levels 1
and 2 of the kselftest_deps.sh. It was added the levels 4 and 5 to
account for a few edge cases that are present in some tests, also some
minor identation styling have been fixed (s/ /\t/g).

Rename selftets/vm to selftests/mm for being more consistent with the
code, documentation, and tools directories, and won't be confused with
virtual machines.

<title>selftests: kselftest_deps: Use "grep -E" instead of "egrep"</title>

The latest version of grep claims the egrep is now obsolete so the build
now contains warnings that look like:
egrep: warning: egrep is obsolescent; using grep -E
fix this up by moving the related file to use "grep -E" instead.

  sed -i "s/egrep/grep -E/g" `grep egrep -rwl tools/testing/selftests`

Here are the steps to install the latest grep:

  wget http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/grep/grep-3.8.tar.gz
  tar xf grep-3.8.tar.gz
  cd grep-3.8 &amp;&amp; ./configure &amp;&amp; make
  sudo make install

<title>selftests: add build/cross-build dependency check script</title>

Add build/cross-build dependency check script kselftest_deps.sh
This script does the following:

Usage: ./kselftest_deps.sh -[p] &lt;compiler&gt; [test_name]

	kselftest_deps.sh [-p] gcc
	kselftest_deps.sh [-p] gcc vm
	kselftest_deps.sh [-p] aarch64-linux-gnu-gcc
	kselftest_deps.sh [-p] aarch64-linux-gnu-gcc vm

- Should be run in selftests directory in the kernel repo.
- Checks if Kselftests can be built/cross-built on a system.
- Parses all test/sub-test Makefile to find library dependencies.
- Runs compile test on a trivial C file with LDLIBS specified
in the test Makefiles to identify missing library dependencies.
- Prints suggested target list for a system filtering out tests
failed the build dependency check from the TARGETS in Selftests
the main Makefile when optional -p is specified.
- Prints pass/fail dependency check for each tests/sub-test.
- Prints pass/fail targets and libraries.
- Default: runs dependency checks on all tests.
- Optional test name can be specified to check dependencies for it.

To make LDLIBS parsing easier
- change gpio and memfd Makefiles to use the same temporary variable used
to find and add libraries to LDLIBS.
- simlify LDLIBS append logic in intel_pstate/Makefile.

Results from run on x86_64 system (trimmed detailed pass/fail list):
