2019-05-24dt-bindings: ti-lmu: Modify dt bindings for the LM3697Dan Murphy
The LM3697 is a single function LED driver. The single function LED driver needs to reside in the LED directory as a dedicated LED driver and not as a MFD device. The device does have common brightness and ramp features and those can be accomodated by a TI LMU framework. The LM3697 dt binding needs to be moved from the ti-lmu.txt and a dedicated LED dt binding needs to be added. The new LM3697 LED dt binding will then reside in the Documentation/devicetree/bindings/leds directory and follow the current LED and general bindings guidelines. 2019-04-07dt: lm3532: Add lm3532 dt doc and update ti_lmu docDan Murphy
Add the lm3532 device tree documentation. Remove lm3532 device tree reference from the ti_lmu devicetree documentation. With the addition of the dedicated lm3532 documentation the device can be removed from the ti_lmu.txt. The reason for this is that the lm3532 dt documentation now defines the ability to control LED output strings against different control banks or groups multiple strings to be controlled by a single control bank. Another addition was for ALS lighting control and configuration. The LM3532 has a feature that can take in the ALS reading from 2 separate ALS devices and adjust the brightness on the strings that are configured to support this feature. Finally the device specific properties were moved to the parent node as these properties are not control bank configurable. These include the runtime ramp and the ALS configuration. 2019-02-14devicetree: bindings: bd718x7: document HW state related ROHM specific ↵Matti Vaittinen
properties Add ROHM BD71837 / BD71847 specific device tree bindings for controlling the PMIC shutdown/reset states and voltages for different HW states. The PMIC was designed to be used with NXP i.MX8 SoC and it supports SNVS low power state which seems to be typical for NXP i.MX SoCs. However, when SNVS is used we must not allow SW to control enabling/disabling those regulators which are crucial for system to boot as there is a HW limitation which causes SW controlled regulators to be kept shut down after SNVS reset. Allow setting the SNVS to be used as reset target state and allow marking those regulators which are critical for boot.
