2021-06-02dt-bindings: firmware: amlogic, scpi: Move arm,scpi-shmem to json schemaSudeep Holla
"amlogic,meson-gxbb-scp-shmem" is already in the Generic on-chip SRAM binding though "amlogic,meson-gxbb-scpi" is missing which is now added. Also remove the whole old text format binding for the same. 2021-06-02dt-bindings: firmware: juno, scpi: Move to sram.yaml json schemaSudeep Holla
Commit a90b15e0ad72 ("Documentation: bindings: decouple juno specific details from generic binding") moved the juno specific bindings into separate file. Though there was no need for juno specific binding, it has been used unfortunately for whatever stupid reason I added it for. Let us move the same to the generic sram.yaml schema and remove the old text format binding. 2021-06-02dt-bindings: firmware: arm, scmi: Move arm,scmi-shmem to json schemaSudeep Holla
Move the SRAM and shared memory binding for SCMI into the existing Generic on-chip SRAM. We just need to update the compatible list and there-by remove the whole old text format binding for the same. 2021-02-03dt-bindings: sram: Add compatible strings for the Meson AO ARC SRAMMartin Blumenstingl
Amlogic Meson8, Meson8b and Meson8m2 SoCs embed an ARC EM4 core typically used for managing system suspend. A section of the SoCs SRAM is mapped as memory for this ARC core. Add new compatible strings for the SRAM section for the ARC core memory. 2021-01-11dt-bindings: Add missing array size constraintsRob Herring
DT properties which can have multiple entries need to specify what the entries are and define how many entries there can be. In the case of only a single entry, just 'maxItems: 1' is sufficient. Add the missing entry constraints. These were found with a modified meta-schema. Unfortunately, there are a few cases where the size constraints are not defined such as common bindings, so the meta-schema can't be part of the normal checks. 2020-04-20dt-bindings: sram: convert rockchip-pmu-sram bindings to yamlJohan Jonker
Current dts files with 'rockchip-pmu-sram' compatible nodes are now verified with sram.yaml, although the original text document still exists. Merge rockchip-pmu-sram.txt with sram.yaml by adding it as description with an example. Make #address-cells, #size-cells and ranges optional if there are no child nodes to prevent yaml warnings. 2019-12-17dt-bindings: sram: Add Allwinner SRAM compatiblesMaxime Ripard
The mmio-sram binding was added missing a few SRAM sections compatible for allwinner SoCs. Let's add them. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime@cerno.tech> Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org>
2019-12-17dt-bindings: sram: Allow for more specific compatiblesMaxime Ripard
Even though the generic mmio-sram binding has a list of the sections compatible allowed, most device trees have more specific compatibles attached to those generic ones. This creates warnings at the moment, and we don't really want to cripple the generic binding with all the vendor specific combinations that would prove to be hard to maintain. Let's allow additional compatibles for the sections, and then we can have the vendor-specific bindings to reduce the scope of what's allowed exactly. 2019-12-17dt-bindings: sram: Allow for the childs nodes to be called sectionsMaxime Ripard
The generic SRAM binding currently only allows for child nodes of an SRAM to be called sram too. However, these are also called sections in a number of device tree, which seems a bit more accurate. Let's change the name pattern to allow both. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime@cerno.tech> Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org>

2019-10-28dt-bindings: sram: Convert SRAM bindings to json-schemaKrzysztof Kozlowski
Convert generic mmio-sram bindings to DT schema format using json-schema. Require the address/size cells to be 1, not equal to root node. This also fixes the check for clocks property to be in main root node instead of children. Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org>
