2020-03-11ARM: dts: imx6qdl: Fix SPDIF regressionFabio Estevam
Commit 833f2cbf7091 ("ARM: dts: imx6: change the core clock of spdif") changed many more clocks than only the SPDIF core clock as stated in the commit message. The MLB clock has been added and this causes SPDIF regression as reported by Xavi Drudis Ferran and also in this forum post: https://forum.digikey.com/thread/34240 The MX6Q Reference Manual does not mention that MLB is a clock related to SPDIF, so change it back to a dummy clock to restore SPDIF functionality. Thanks to Ambika for providing the fix at: https://community.nxp.com/thread/387131 Fixes: 833f2cbf7091 ("ARM: dts: imx6: change the core clock of spdif") Cc: <stable@vger.kernel.org> # 4.4.x Reported-by: Xavi Drudis Ferran <xdrudis@tinet.cat> Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@nxp.com> Tested-by: Xavi Drudis Ferran <xdrudis@tinet.cat> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org> (cherry picked from commit f065e9e4addd75c21bb976bb2558648bf4f61de6) This fix was correct, but overwritten by commit 833f2cbf7091099baee28136dc68678e974c0ac5. MLB (Media Local Bus) Clock is in fact not related to SPDIF according to the MX6Q Reference Manual. Tested playback and record on pulseaudio with 44.1kHz samples. 2019-06-15ARM: dts: imx6qdl: Specify IMX6QDL_CLK_IPG as "ipg" clock to SDMAAndrey Smirnov
[ Upstream commit b14c872eebc501b9640b04f4a152df51d6eaf2fc ] Since 25aaa75df1e6 SDMA driver uses clock rates of "ipg" and "ahb" clock to determine if it needs to configure the IP block as operating at 1:1 or 1:2 clock ratio (ACR bit in SDMAARM_CONFIG). Specifying both clocks as IMX6QDL_CLK_SDMA results in driver incorrectly thinking that ratio is 1:1 which results in broken SDMA funtionality(this at least breaks RAVE SP serdev driver on RDU2). Fix the code to specify IMX6QDL_CLK_IPG as "ipg" clock for SDMA, to avoid detecting incorrect clock ratio. 2019-02-12MLK-10161-1: ARM: imx6q: Add SPDIF_GCLK clock in clock treeShengjiu Wang
As spdif driver will register SPDIF clock to regmap, regmap will do clk_prepare in init function, so SPDIF clock is prepared in probe, then its root clock (pll clock) is prepared also, which cause the arm can't enter low power mode. Add SPDIF_GCLK in clock tree which share same gate bits with SPDIF clock. Its root clock is ipg clock, and register it to regmap, then the issue can be fixed. 2017-06-14ARM: dts: imx6qdl: Add video multiplexers, mipi_csi, and their connectionsPhilipp Zabel
This patch adds the device tree graph connecting the input multiplexers to the IPU CSIs and the MIPI-CSI2 gasket on i.MX6. The MIPI_IPU multiplexers are added as children of the iomuxc-gpr syscon device node. On i.MX6Q/D two two-input multiplexers in front of IPU1 CSI0 and IPU2 CSI1 allow to select between CSI0/1 parallel input pads and the MIPI CSI-2 virtual channels 0/3. On i.MX6DL/S two five-input multiplexers in front of IPU1 CSI0 and IPU1 CSI1 allow to select between CSI0/1 parallel input pads and any of the four MIPI CSI-2 virtual channels. Changes from Steve Longerbeam: - Removed some dangling/unused endpoints (ipu2_csi0_from_csi2ipu) - Renamed the mipi virtual channel endpoint labels, from "mipi_csiX_..." to "mipi_vcX...". - Added input endpoint anchors to the video muxes for the connections from parallel sensors. 2017-01-29ARM: imx6: remove unit address from LDB nodeLucas Stach
The LDB has no reg property as it uses the IOMUX-GPR syscon to access its registers. Remove the unit address from the DT node to make DT compiler happy. Signed-off-by: Lucas Stach <l.stach@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2017-01-29ARM: imx6: fix regulator constraints on anatop 1p1 and 2p5Lucas Stach

2017-01-29ARM: imx6: fix min/max voltage of anatop 2p5 regulatorLucas Stach
The regulation bound of this regulator are 2.1V to 2.875V, the wrong DT values cause the driver to miscalculate the effective voltage. This isn't really an issue right now, as nobody actively changes the regulator voltage, but better fix it now. 2017-01-24ARM: dts: imx: Pass 'chosen' and 'memory' nodesFabio Estevam
Commit 7f107887d199 ("ARM: dts: imx: Remove skeleton.dtsi") causes boot issues when the bootloader does not create a 'chosen' node if such node is not present in the dtb. The reason for the boot failure is well explained by Javier Martinez Canillas: "the decompressor relies on a pre-existing chosen node to be available to insert the command line and merge other ATAGS info." , so pass an empty 'chosen' node to fix the boot problem. This issue has been seen in the kernelci reports with Barebox as bootloader. Also pass the 'memory' node in order to fix boot issues on the SolidRun iMX6 platforms. 2017-01-03ARM: dts: imx6: Disable "weim" node in the dtsi filesFabio Estevam
Commit 1be81ea5860744520 ("ARM: dts: imx6: Add imx-weim parameters to dtsi's") causes the following probe error when the weim node is not present on the board dts (such as imx6q-sabresd): imx-weim 21b8000.weim: Invalid 'ranges' configuration imx-weim: probe of 21b8000.weim failed with error -22 There is no need to always enable the "weim" node on mx6. Do the same as in the other i.MX dtsi files where "weim" is disabled and only gets enabled on a per dts basis. All the imx6 weim dts users explicitily provide 'status = "okay"', so this change has no impact on current imx6 weim users. If a board does not use the weim driver it will not describe its 'ranges' property, so simply disable the 'weim' node in the imx6 dtsi files to avoid such probe error message.
