2015-01-29ARM: dts: imx25: Fix PWM "per" clocksFabio Estevam
commit 7ecd0bde5bfea524a843ad8fa8cb66ccbce68779 upstream. Currently PWM functionality is broken on mx25 due to the wrong assignment of the PWM "per" clock. According to Documentation/devicetree/bindings/clock/imx25-clock.txt: pwm_ipg_per 52 ,so update the pwm "per" to use 'pwm_ipg_per' instead of 'per10' clock. With this change PWM can work fine on mx25. 2015-01-27ARM: dts: dra7-evm: fix qspi device tree partition sizeMugunthan V N
commit 69d2626f97b7f017ee4416b7dc071e9499c2c944 upstream. 64KiB is allocated for qspi dtb partition which is not sufficient, so updating the partition table size to 512KiB for device tree partition. This also aligns the QSPI partition definitions between kernel and U-Boot. 2015-01-27ARM: dts: berlin: add broken-cd and set bus width for eMMC in Marvell DMP DTJisheng Zhang
commit 5adba7c2daaecccf377e7ed5a2996caedd5384f1 upstream. There's no card detection for the eMMC, so this patch adds the missing broken-cd property. This patch also sets bus width as 8 to add MMC_CAP_8_BIT_DATA in the Host capabilities. 2015-01-27ARM: dts: imx51-babbage: Fix ULPI PHY reset modellingFabio Estevam
commit 7a9f0604bd56936b2b18f49824e0e392dc7878c3 upstream. GPIO2_5 is the reset GPIO for the USB3317 ULPI PHY. Instead of modelling it as a regulator, the correct approach is to use the 'reset_gpios' property of the "usb-nop-xceiv" node. GPIO1_7 is the reset GPIO for the USB2517 USB hub. As we currently don't have dt bindings to describe a HUB reset, let's keep using the regulator approach. Rename the regulator to 'reg_hub_reset' to better describe its function and bind it with the USB host1 port instead. USB host support has been introduced by commit 9bf206a9d13be3 ("ARM: dts: imx51-babbage: Add USB Host1 support"), which landed in 3.16 and it seems that USB has only been functional due to previous bootloader initialization. With this patch applied we can get USB host to work without relying on the bootloader. commit 7a87e9cbc3a2f0ff0955815335e08c9862359130 upstream. From Documentation/devicetree/bindings/clock/imx25-clock.txt: cspi1_ipg 78 cspi2_ipg 79 cspi3_ipg 80 , so fix the SPI1 clocks accordingly to avoid a kernel hang when trying to access SPI1. 2015-01-27ARM: dts: berlin: correct BG2Q's SM GPIO location.Jisheng Zhang
commit 5138d5c562e3bfe30964e20ab46eec9f8b89225d upstream. The gpio4 and gpio5 are in 0xf7fc0000 apb which is located in the SM domain. This patch moves gpio4 and gpio5 to the correct location. This patch also renames them as the following to match the names we internally used in marvell: gpio4 -> sm_gpio1 gpio5 -> sm_gpio0 porte -> portf portf -> porte This also matches what we did for BG2 and BG2CD's SM GPIO. commit 96ed6046d3bf1113de3bdbd6dbb7f40e6d0ae0ef upstream. On BG2Q, the sdhci2 host uses nfcecc for "io" clk and nfc for "core" clk. commit be6688350a4470e417aaeca54d162652aab40ac5 upstream. OMAP wdt driver supports only ti,omap3-wdt compatible. In DRA7 dt wdt compatible property is defined as ti,omap4-wdt by mistake instead of ti,omap3-wdt. Correcting the typo. 2015-01-16ARM: dts: am437x-sk-evm.dts: fix LCD timingsTomi Valkeinen
commit d73f825e6efa723e81d9ffcc4949fe9f03f1df29 upstream. The lcd0 node for am437x-sk-evm.dts contains bad LCD timings, and while they seem to work with a quick test, doing for example blank/unblank will give you a black display. This patch updates the timings to the 'typical' values from the LCD spec sheet. Also, the compatible string is completely bogus, as "osddisplays,osd057T0559-34ts" is _not_ a 480x272 panel. The panel on the board is a newhaven one. Update the compatible string to reflect this. Note that this hasn't caused any issues, as the "panel-dpi" matches the driver. 2015-01-16ARM: dts: am437x-sk: fix lcd enable pin mux dataFelipe Balbi
commit 58230c2c443bc9801293f6535144d04ceaf731e0 upstream. Caused by a copy & paste error. Note that even with this bug AM437x SK display still works because GPIO mux mode is always enabled. It's still wrong to mux somebody else's pin. Luckily ball D25 (offset 0x238 - gpio5_8) on AM437x isn't used for anything. While at that, also replace a pullup with a pulldown as that gpio should be normally low, not high. 2015-01-08ARM: mvebu: remove conflicting muxing on Armada 370 DBThomas Petazzoni
commit b4607572ef86b288a856b9df410ea593c5371dec upstream. Back when audio was enabled, the muxing of some MPP pins was causing problems. However, since commit fea038ed55ae ("ARM: mvebu: Add proper pin muxing on the Armada 370 DB board"), those problematic MPP pins have been assigned a proper muxing for the Ethernet interfaces. This proper muxing is now conflicting with the hog pins muxing that had been added as part of 249f3822509b ("ARM: mvebu: add audio support to Armada 370 DB"). Therefore, this commit simply removes the hog pins muxing, which solves a warning a boot time due to the conflicting muxing requirements. 2014-11-13ARM: 8191/1: decompressor: ensure I-side picks up relocated codeWill Deacon
To speed up decompression, the decompressor sets up a flat, cacheable mapping of memory. However, when there is insufficient space to hold the page tables for this mapping, we don't bother to enable the caches and subsequently skip all the cache maintenance hooks. Skipping the cache maintenance before jumping to the relocated code allows the processor to predict the branch and populate the I-cache with stale data before the relocation loop has completed (since a bootloader may have SCTLR.I set, which permits normal, cacheable instruction fetches regardless of SCTLR.M). This patch moves the cache maintenance check into the maintenance routines themselves, allowing the v6/v7 versions to invalidate the I-cache regardless of the MMU state. 2014-10-31net: smc91x: Fix gpios for device tree based bootingTony Lindgren
With legacy booting, the platform init code was taking care of the configuring of GPIOs. With device tree based booting, things may or may not work depending what bootloader has configured or if the legacy platform code gets called. Let's add support for the pwrdn and reset GPIOs to the smc91x driver to fix the issues of smc91x not working properly when booted in device tree mode. And let's change n900 to use these settings as some versions of the bootloader do not configure things properly causing errors. Commit 78b81f4666fb ("ARM: dts: imx28-evk: Run I2C0 at 400kHz") caused issues when doing the following sequence in loop: - Boot the kernel - Perform audio playback - Reboot the system via 'reboot' command In many times the audio card cannot be probed, which causes playback to fail. After restoring to the original i2c0 frequency of 100kHz there is no such problem anymore. This reverts commit 78b81f4666fbb22a20b1e63e5baf197ad2e90e88. git://git.rocketboards.org/linux-socfpga-next into fixes Merge "SOCFPGA fixes for 3.18" from Dinh Nguyen: These patches fixes an SMP and SDMMC driver hang during boot up on the SOCFPGA platform. Patch "arm: socfpga: fix fetching cpu1start_addr for SMP" fixes the SMP trampoline code in order for CPU1 to correctly fetch it's cpu1start_addr. Patch "ARM: dts: socfpga: rename gpio nodes" renames that GPIO node in order to allow a standard way of specifying status="okay" in the board DTS file. Patch "ARM: dts: socfpga: Fix SD card detect" fixes a SDMMC driver hang during boot. The reason for the hang was the deferred probe of the SDMMC driver was waiting for the GPIO resource that would never come. Patch "ARM: dts: socfpga: Add a 3.3V fixed regulator node" adds a fixed regulator node for the SDMMC driver to use. * tag 'socfpga_fixes_for_3.18' of git://git.rocketboards.org/linux-socfpga-next: ARM: dts: socfpga: Add a 3.3V fixed regulator node ARM: dts: socfpga: Fix SD card detect ARM: dts: socfpga: rename gpio nodes arm: socfpga: fix fetching cpu1start_addr for SMP Signed-off-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net>

Without the 3.3V regulator node, the SDMMC driver will give these warnings: dw_mmc ff704000.dwmmc0: No vmmc regulator found dw_mmc ff704000.dwmmc0: No vqmmc regulator found This patch adds the regulator node, and points the SD/MMC to the regulator. 2014-10-22ARM: dts: socfpga: Fix SD card detectDinh Nguyen
Without this patch, the booting the SOCFPGA platform would hang at the SDMMC driver loading. The issue, debugged by Doug Anderson, turned out to be that the GPIO bank used by the SD card-detect was not set to status="okay". Also update the cd-gpios to point to portb of the &gpio1 GPIO IP. 2014-10-22ARM: dts: socfpga: rename gpio nodesDinh Nguyen
Since the Synopsys GPIO IP can support multiple ports of varying widths, it would make more sense to have the GPIO node DTS entry as this: gpio0: gpio@ff708000{ porta{ }; }; Also, this is documented in the snps-dwapb-gpio.txt.
