2014-07-23ARM: EXYNOS: Refactored code for using PMU address via DTPankaj Dubey
Under "arm/mach-exynos" many files are using PMU register offsets. Since we have added support for accessing PMU base address via DT, now we can remove PMU mapping from exynosX_iodesc. Let's convert all these access using iomapped address. This will help us in removing static mapping of PMU base address as well as help in reducing dependency over machine header files. Thus helping for migration of PMU implementation from machine to driver folder which can be reused for ARM64 based SoC. Also as we have removed static mappings from "regs-pmu.h" it does not need map.h anymore. But "platsmp.c" needed this and till now it got included indirectly. So lets move header inclusion of "mach/map.h" from "regs-pmu.h" to "platsmp.c". On device tree enabled exynos platforms, retrieve the physical base address of the chip-id controller from device tree and create a virtual I/O mapping for the chip-id controller. This helps to remove the chip-id controller entry from the statically defined I/O mapping tables. Commit 8214513 ("ARM: EXYNOS: fix address for EXYNOS4 MDMA1") changed EXYNOS specific setup of PL330 DMA engine to use 'non-secure' mdma1 address instead of 'secure' one (from 0x12840000 to 0x12850000) to fix issue with some Exynos4212 SOCs. Unfortunately it brakes PL330 setup for revision 0 of Exynos4210 SOC (mdma1 device cannot be found at 'non-secure' address): [ 0.566245] dma-pl330 dma-pl330.2: PERIPH_ID 0x0, PCELL_ID 0x0 ! [ 0.566278] dma-pl330: probe of dma-pl330.2 failed with error -22 Fix it by using 'secure' mdma1 address on Exynos4210 revision 0 SOC. Handling System MMUs with an identifier is not flexible to manage System MMU platform devices because of the following reasons: 1. A device driver which needs to handle System MMU must know the ID. 2. A System MMU may not present in some implementations of Exynos family. 3. Handling System MMU with IOMMU API does not require an ID. This patch is the result of removing ID of System MMUs. Instead, a device driver that needs to handle its System MMU must use IOMMU API while its descriptor of platform device is given. Pull "ARM: driver specific updates" from Arnd Bergmann: "These are all specific to some driver. They are typically the platform side of a change in the drivers directory, such as adding a new driver or extending the interface to the platform. In cases where there is no maintainer for the driver, or the maintainer prefers to have the platform changes in the same branch as the driver changes, the patches to the drivers are included as well. A much smaller set of driver updates that depend on other branches getting merged first will be sent later. The new export of tegra_chip_uid conflicts with other changes in fuse.c. In rtc-sa1100.c, the global removal of IRQF_DISABLED conflicts with the cleanup of the interrupt handling of that driver.
