2016-05-05asm-generic: Drop renameat syscall from default listJames Hogan
The newer renameat2 syscall provides all the functionality provided by the renameat syscall and adds flags, so future architectures won't need to include renameat. Therefore drop the renameat syscall from the generic syscall list unless __ARCH_WANT_RENAMEAT is defined by the architecture's unistd.h prior to including asm-generic/unistd.h, and adjust all architectures using the generic syscall list to define it so that no in-tree architectures are affected. 2012-12-19Bury the conditionals from kernel_thread/kernel_execve seriesAl Viro
All architectures have CONFIG_GENERIC_KERNEL_THREAD CONFIG_GENERIC_KERNEL_EXECVE __ARCH_WANT_SYS_EXECVE None of them have __ARCH_WANT_KERNEL_EXECVE and there are only two callers of kernel_execve() (which is a trivial wrapper for do_execve() now) left. Kill the conditionals and make both callers use do_execve(). Signed-off-by: Al Viro <viro@zeniv.linux.org.uk>
