2008-04-29sparc: Add kgdb support.David S. Miller
Current limitations: 1) On SMP single stepping has some fundamental issues, shared with other sw single-step architectures such as mips and arm. 2) On 32-bit sparc we don't support SMP kgdb yet. That requires some reworking of the IPI mechanisms and infrastructure on that platform. Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

2007-05-08move die notifier handling to common codeChristoph Hellwig
This patch moves the die notifier handling to common code. Previous various architectures had exactly the same code for it. Note that the new code is compiled unconditionally, this should be understood as an appel to the other architecture maintainer to implement support for it aswell (aka sprinkling a notify_die or two in the proper place) arm had a notifiy_die that did something totally different, I renamed it to arm_notify_die as part of the patch and made it static to the file it's declared and used at. avr32 used to pass slightly less information through this interface and I brought it into line with the other architectures. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
