Patch 72480014b8 "Fix device clock divisor calculations" was apparently rebased incorrectly before it got upstream, causing a build error. Replacing the "prate" pointer with the local parent_rate is most likely the correct solution. 2013-02-27hlist: drop the node parameter from iteratorsSasha Levin
I'm not sure why, but the hlist for each entry iterators were conceived list_for_each_entry(pos, head, member) The hlist ones were greedy and wanted an extra parameter: hlist_for_each_entry(tpos, pos, head, member) Why did they need an extra pos parameter? I'm not quite sure. Not only they don't really need it, it also prevents the iterator from looking exactly like the list iterator, which is unfortunate. Besides the semantic patch, there was some manual work required: - Fix up the actual hlist iterators in linux/list.h - Fix up the declaration of other iterators based on the hlist ones. - A very small amount of places were using the 'node' parameter, this was modified to use 'obj->member' instead. - Coccinelle didn't handle the hlist_for_each_entry_safe iterator properly, so those had to be fixed up manually. Patch 85a18198 "clk: sunxi: Use common of_clk_init() function" removed the clk-sunxi.c file but left the Makefile entry, which causes a build error in multi_v7_defconfig: make[4]: *** No rule to make target `drivers/clk/clk-sunxi.o', needed by `drivers/clk/built-in.o'. The obvious fix is to remove the extraneous line from the Makefile. 2013-02-13clk: tegra: fix driver to match DT bindingStephen Warren
enum tegra*_clk is intended to match the IDs listed in the Tegra clock bindings. There are a few mismatches, which this patch fixes: 1) pll_s and cop were left out of the Tegra20 enum. 2) spdif_in and spdif_out were swapped relative to the Tegra30 binding. 3) i2cslow was misnamed as i2c_slow, and a duplicate i2cslow clock added to the Tegra30 enum. This pull request solves all three issues. This required some DT changes to add clocks properties, and driver changes to request clocks more "correctly". Finally, this rework allows all AUXDATA to be removed from Tegra board files, and various duplicate clock lookup entries to be removed from the driver. Intel Lynxpoint Low Power Subsystem hosts peripherals like UART, I2C and SPI controllers. For most of these there is a configuration register that allows software to enable and disable the functional clock. Disabling the clock while the peripheral is not used saves power. In order to take advantage of this we add a new clock gate of type lpss_gate that just re-uses the ordinary clk_gate but in addition is able to enumerate the base address register of the device using ACPI. We then create a clock tree that models the Lynxpoint LPSS clocks using these gates and fixed clocks so that we can pass clock rate to the drivers as well.
