2019-07-16drm/amdkfd: Consistently apply noretry settingFelix Kuehling
Apply the same setting to SH_MEM_CONFIG and VM_CONTEXT1_CNTL. This makes the noretry param no longer KFD-specific. On GFX10 I'm not changing SH_MEM_CONFIG in this commit because GFX10 has different retry behaviour in the SQ and I don't have a way to test it at the moment. 2019-07-03drm/amdkfd: Print a warning when the runlist becomes oversubscribedFelix Kuehling
Oversubscription of queues or processes results in poor performance mostly because HWS blinbly schedules busy and idle queues, resulting in poor occupancy if many queues are idle. Let users know with a warning message when transitioning from a non-oversubscribed to an oversubscribed runlist. 2019-06-11drm/amdkfd: Simplify eviction state logicFelix Kuehling
Always mark evicted queues with q->properties.is_evicted = true, even queues that are inactive for other reason. This simplifies maintaining the eviction state as it doesn't require updating is_evicted when other queue activation conditions change. On the other hand, we now need to check those other queue activation conditions whenever an evicted queues is restored. To minimize code duplication, move the queue activation check into a macro so it can be maintained in one central place. 2019-05-28drm/amdkfd: Add gws number to kfd topology node propertiesOak Zeng
Add amdgpu_amdkfd interface to get num_gws and add num_gws to /sys/class/kfd/kfd/topology/nodes/x/properties. Only report num_gws if MEC FW support GWS barriers. Currently it is determined by a module parameter which will be replaced with MEC FW version check when firmware is ready. 2018-12-07drm/amdkfd: Add DMABuf import functionalityFelix Kuehling
This is used for interoperability between ROCm compute and graphics APIs. It allows importing graphics driver BOs into the ROCm SVM address space for zero-copy GPU access. The API is split into two steps (query and import) to allow user mode to manage the virtual address space allocation for the imported buffer. 2018-09-26drm/amdkfd: Add wavefront context save state retrieval ioctlJay Cornwall
Wavefront context save data is of interest to userspace clients for debugging static wavefront state. The MQD contains two parameters required to parse the control stack and the control stack itself is kept in the MQD from gfx9 onwards. Add an ioctl to fetch the context save area and control stack offsets and to copy the control stack to a userspace address if it is kept in the MQD. 2018-07-11drm/amdkfd: fix zero reading of VMID and PASID for HawaiiLan Xiao
Upon VM Fault, the VMID and PASID written by HW are zeros in Hawaii. Instead of reading from ih_ring_entry, read directly from the registers. This workaround fix the soft hang issues caused by mishandled VM Fault in Hawaii. 2018-07-11drm/amdkfd: Handle VM faults in KFDshaoyunl
1. Pre-GFX9 the amdgpu ISR saves the vm-fault status and address per per-vmid. amdkfd needs to get the information from amdgpu through the new get_vm_fault_info interface.
