2014-03-24[media] adv7180: free an interrupt on failure paths in init_device()Alexey Khoroshilov
There is request_irq() in init_device(), but the interrupt is not removed on failure paths. The patch adds proper error handling. Found by Linux Driver Verification project (linuxtesting.org). 2014-03-11[media] adv7180: Add support for power downLars-Peter Clausen
The adv7180 has a low power mode in which the analog and the digital processing section are shut down. Implement the s_power callback to let bridge drivers put the part into low power mode when not needed. The proper way to handle IRQs that need to be able to sleep in their IRQ handler is to use a threaded IRQ. Signed-off-by: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de> Signed-off-by: Hans Verkuil <hans.verkuil@cisco.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <m.chehab@samsung.com>
2014-03-11[media] adv7180: Remove duplicated probe error messageLars-Peter Clausen
The device driver core already prints out a very similar message when a driver fails to probe. No need to print one in the driver itself. 2013-02-06[media] adv7180: remove {query/g_/s_}ctrlFederico Vaga
All drivers which use this subdevice use also the control framework. The v4l2_subdev_core_ops operations {query/g_/s_}ctrl are useless because device drivers will inherit controls from this subdevice. 2013-01-03Drivers: media: remove __dev* attributes.Greg Kroah-Hartman
CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev* markings need to be removed. This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata, __devinitconst, and __devexit from these drivers. Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand.
