If v4l2_ctrl_next is called without the V4L2_CTRL_FLAG_NEXT_CTRL then it
should check whether the passed control ID is valid and return 0 if it
isn't. Otherwise a for-loop over the control IDs will never end.

This patch changes the test for the thread pid from >= 0 to > 0.
When the saa7134 driver initialization fails after a certain point, it goes
through the complete shutdown process for the driver. Part of shutting it
down includes tearing down the thread for tv audio.
The test for tearing down the thread tests for >= 0. Since the dev
structure is kzalloc'd, the test will always be true if we haven't tried to
start the thread yet. We end up waiting on pid 0 to complete, which will
never happen, so we lock up.
This bug was observed in Novell Bugzilla 284718, when request_irq() failed.

Revert changeset

Petri Helin found that this changeset broke tuning:
'Well, after going through the changes that might have had effect on
tuning, I found out the one which had caused this problem. I do not know
the actual reason behind the change, but the changelog says that it
was meant to "Fix TD1316 tuner for DVBC". But at least in my case it
seams to have broken the tuner instead.'

DVB: pluto2: fix incorrect TSCR register setting
The ADEF bits in the TSCR register have different meanings in read
and write mode. For this reason ADEF has to be reset on every
read-modify-write operation.
This patch introduces a special write function for this register, which
takes care of it.
Thanks to Holger Magnussen for pointing my nose at this problem.

dvb-core: fix several locking related problems
Fix several instances of dvb-core functions using mutex_lock_interruptible
and returning -ERESTARTSYS where the calling function will either never
retry or never check the return value.
These cause a race condition with dvb_dmxdev_filter_free and
dvb_dvr_release, both of which are filesystem release functions whose
return value is ignored and will never be retried. When this happens it
becomes impossible to open dvr0 again (-EBUSY) since it has not been
released properly.

V4L: radio: Fix error in Kbuild file
All the radio drivers need video_dev, but they were depending on
VIDEO_DEV!=n. That meant that one could try to compile the driver into
the kernel when VIDEO_DEV=m, which will not work. If video_dev is a

Rework the cx23416 firmware loader so that it longer requires the
firmware size to be a multiple of 8KB. Until recently all cx2341x
firmware images were exactly 256KB, but newer firmware is larger than
that and also appears to have arbitrary size. We still must check
against a multiple of 4 bytes (because the cx23416 itself uses a 32
bit word size).
This fix is already in the upstream driver source and has proven
itself there; this is a backport for the 2.6.20.y kernel series.

This introduces some extra cx23416 commands when streaming is
started. The addition of these commands fix random sporadic video
corruption that can take place when the video stream is temporarily
disrupted through loss of signal (e.g. changing the channel in the RF
tuner).
This fix is already in the upstream driver source and has proven
itself there; this is a backport for the 2.6.20.y kernel series.

There's a problem, pointed by Meelis Roos <mroos@linux.ee>, that, on ppc32 arch,
with some gcc versions (noticed with prerelease 4.1.2 20061115), compilation
fails, due the lack of __ucmpdi2 to do the required 64-bit comparision.

vivi.c uses the KM_BOUNCE_READ with local interrupts enabled.
This means that if a disk interrupt occurs while vivi.c is using this
fixmap slot, the vivi.c driver will, upon return from that interrupt, find
that the fixmap slot now points at a different physical page.
The net result will probably be rare corruption of disk file contents,
because viv.c will now be altering the page which the disk code was
recently using.
Thanks to Andrew Morton for pointing this.
