2013-03-14ARM: at91: add gpio suspend/resume support when using pinctrlLudovic Desroches
gpio suspend/resume and wakeup sources where not managed when using pinctrl so it was impossible to wake up the system with a gpio. 2013-01-22pinctrl: Convert to devm_ioremap_resource()Thierry Reding
Convert all uses of devm_request_and_ioremap() to the newly introduced devm_ioremap_resource() which provides more consistent error handling. devm_ioremap_resource() provides its own error messages so all explicit error messages can be removed from the failure code paths. CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev* markings need to be removed. This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata, and __devexit from these drivers. Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand. 2012-12-26drivers/pinctrl/pinctrl-at91.c: convert kfree to devm_kfreeJulia Lawall
The function at91_dt_node_to_map is ultimately called by the function pinctrl_get, which is an exported function. Since it is possible that this function is not called from within a probe function, for safety, the kfree is converted to a devm_kfree, to both free the data and remove it from the device in a failure situation. The pinctrl configure the pin as gpio with the correct mux parameter but is not responsible to configure it as input. This is also include the gpio controller as the IP share both. Each soc will have to describe the SoC limitation and pin configuration via DT.
