2013-08-12serial: MIPS: lantiq: fix clock error checkJohn Crispin
The clock should be checked with the proper IS_ERR() api before using it. Signed-off-by: John Crispin <blogic@openwrt.org> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2013-08-12serial: MIPS: lantiq: add clk_enable() call to driverThomas Langer
Enable the clock if one is present when setting up the console. Signed-off-by: Thomas Langer <thomas.langer@lantiq.com> Acked-by: John Crispin <blogic@openwrt.org> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2013-01-15TTY: switch tty_flip_buffer_pushJiri Slaby
Now, we start converting tty buffer functions to actually use tty_port. This will allow us to get rid of the need of tty in many call sites. Only tty_port will needed and hence no more tty_port_tty_get in those paths. Now, the one where most of tty_port_tty_get gets removed: tty_flip_buffer_push. IOW we also closed all the races in drivers not using tty_port_tty_get at all yet. Also we move tty_flip_buffer_push declaration from include/linux/tty.h to include/linux/tty_flip.h to all others while we are changing it anyway. 2013-01-15TTY: switch tty_insert_flip_charJiri Slaby
Now, we start converting tty buffer functions to actually use tty_port. This will allow us to get rid of the need of tty in many call sites. Only tty_port will needed and hence no more tty_port_tty_get in those paths. tty_insert_flip_char is the next one to proceed. This one is used all over the code, so the patch is huge. 2012-05-21SERIAL: MIPS: lantiq: implement OF supportJohn Crispin
Add devicetree and handling for our new clkdev clocks. The patch is rather straightforward. .of_match_table is set and the 3 irqs are now loaded from the devicetree. This series converts the lantiq target to clkdev amongst other things. The driver needs to handle two clocks now. The fpi bus clock used to derive the divider and the clock gate needed on some socs to make the secondary port work. 2011-09-22TTY: irq: Remove IRQF_DISABLEDYong Zhang
Since commit [e58aa3d2: genirq: Run irq handlers with interrupts disabled], We run all interrupt handlers with interrupts disabled and we even check and yell when an interrupt handler returns with interrupts enabled (see commit [b738a50a: genirq: Warn when handler enables interrupts]). So now this flag is a NOOP and can be removed. Signed-off-by: Yong Zhang <yong.zhang0@gmail.com> Acked-by: Tobias Klauser <tklauser@distanz.ch> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
