2013-11-26zorro/UAPI: Use proper types (endianness/size) in <linux/zorro.h>Geert Uytterhoeven
Fix member definitions for non-native userspace handling: - All multi-byte values are big-endian, hence use __be*, - All pointers are 32-bit pointers under AmigaOS, but unused (except for cd_BoardAddr) under Linux, hence use __be32. Signed-off-by: Geert Uytterhoeven <geert@linux-m68k.org>

2013-05-01proc: Supply PDE attribute setting accessor functionsDavid Howells
Supply accessor functions to set attributes in proc_dir_entry structs. The following are supplied: proc_set_size() and proc_set_user(). 2013-04-09procfs: new helper - PDE_DATA(inode)Al Viro
The only part of proc_dir_entry the code outside of fs/proc really cares about is PDE(inode)->data. Provide a helper for that; static inline for now, eventually will be moved to fs/proc, along with the knowledge of struct proc_dir_entry layout. Signed-off-by: Al Viro <viro@zeniv.linux.org.uk>

2011-10-31drivers/zorro: Add export.h to proc.cPaul Gortmaker
To fix what used to be the implicit presence of the macros EXPORT_SYMBOL and THIS_MODULE, via module.h being everywhere. Signed-off-by: Paul Gortmaker <paul.gortmaker@windriver.com>
2010-11-17BKL: remove extraneous #include <smp_lock.h>Arnd Bergmann
The big kernel lock has been removed from all these files at some point, leaving only the #include. Remove this too as a cleanup. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
2010-08-09zorro: Fix reading of proc/bus/zorro/* in small chunksGeert Uytterhoeven
proc_bus_zorro_read() didn't take into account the current file position, hence it always read from the start of the ConfigDev. Signed-off-by: Geert Uytterhoeven <geert@linux-m68k.org>
2010-08-09zorro: BKL removalGeert Uytterhoeven
Remove BKL use from proc_bus_zorro_lseek(), like was done for proc_bus_pci_lseek() a long time ago. Signed-off-by: Geert Uytterhoeven <geert@linux-m68k.org> Acked-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>

2008-07-20m68k: remove CVS keywordsAdrian Bunk
This patch removes CVS keywords that weren't updated for a long time from comments. Signed-off-by: Adrian Bunk <bunk@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Geert Uytterhoeven <geert@linux-m68k.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
2008-04-29zorro: use non-racy method for proc entries creationDenis V. Lunev
Use proc_create()/proc_create_data() to make sure that ->proc_fops and ->data be setup before gluing PDE to main tree. Add correct ->owner to proc_fops to fix reading/module unloading race. 2008-04-29proc: remove proc_busAlexey Dobriyan
Remove proc_bus export and variable itself. Using pathnames works fine and is slightly more understandable and greppable. Signed-off-by: Alexey Dobriyan <adobriyan@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@linux-foundation.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
2007-05-04Amiga Zorro bus: kill resource_size_t warningsGeert Uytterhoeven
Kill resource_size_t warnings by casting resource_size_t to unsigned long when formatting Zorro bus resources, as they are always 32-bit. Signed-off-by: Geert Uytterhoeven <geert@linux-m68k.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
2007-02-12[PATCH] mark struct file_operations const 6Arjan van de Ven
Many struct file_operations in the kernel can be "const". Marking them const moves these to the .rodata section, which avoids false sharing with potential dirty data. In addition it'll catch accidental writes at compile time to these shared resources. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
