2008-02-08ARM: OMAP: Add DMA support for chaining and 3430Anand Gadiyar
Add DMA support for chaining and 3430. Also remove old DEBUG_PRINTS as noted by Russell King. Signed-off-by: Anand Gadiyar <gadiyar@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2007-09-20ARM: OMAP: add SoSSI clock (remove manual checking of SoSSI state from idle)Imre Deak
The SoSSI driver should already take care of this by enabling / disabling its clock when necessary, so this legacy callout from the PM idle code is not needed any more. Signed-off-by: Imre Deak <imre.deak@solidboot.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2007-05-09include files: convert "include" subdirectory to UTF-8John Anthony Kazos Jr
Convert the "include" subdirectory to UTF-8. Signed-off-by: John Anthony Kazos Jr. <jakj@j-a-k-j.com> Signed-off-by: Adrian Bunk <bunk@stusta.de>
2006-09-25ARM: OMAP: Sync DMA with linux-omap treeTony Lindgren
This patch syncs OMAP DMA code with linux-omap tree. Mostly allow changing DMA callback function and set OMAP2 specific transfer mode. Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2006-09-25ARM: OMAP: DMA source and destination addresses are unsignedTony Lindgren
Also export some omap24xx specific DMA functions. Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2006-06-26ARM: OMAP: Fix DMA channel irq handling for omap24xxTony Lindgren
- DMA CSR register is cleared by reading on omap1, but on omap2 it is cleard by writing to it. - DMA TOUT interrupt does not exist on omap24xx, rename it - Add SECURE and MISALIGNED errors by default for omap24xx - Add defines for external DMA request lines Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2006-06-26ARM: OMAP: OMAP2 DMA burst supportKyungmin Park
OMAP2 DMA burst setting support Signed-off-by: Kyungmin Park <kyungmin.park@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2006-04-02[ARM] 3454/1: ARM: OMAP: 6/8 Update framebuffer low-level init code, take 2Tony Lindgren
Patch from Tony Lindgren Update OMAP framebuffer low-level init code from linux-omap tree by Imre Deak. Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-01-04[ARM] Remove definition of MAX_DMA_CHANNELS to zeroRussell King
Since we now only build arch/arm/kernel/dma.c on machine types which set ISA_DMA_API, we don't need to define MAX_DMA_CHANNELS to 0 to indicate this - this definition becomes superfluous. Remove it. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-01-04[ARM] Move common definition of MAX_DMA_ADDRESS to asm/dma.hRussell King
Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-11-10[ARM] 3143/1: OMAP 4/5: Update omap include filesTony Lindgren
Patch from Tony Lindgren This patch syncs the mainline kernel with linux-omap tree. This patch contains changes to common header files for omap1xxx and omap24xx by various omap developers, and improved cpu detection by Imre Deak Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-09-07[ARM] 2888/1: OMAP 3/4: Update omap include files, take 2Tony Lindgren
Patch from Tony Lindgren This patch syncs the mainline kernel with linux-omap tree. The highlights of the patch are: - Start adding 24xx support by Paul Mundt - Clean-up of cpu detection by Dirk Behme and Tony Lindgren - Add DSP header by Toshihiro Kobayashi - Add support for mtd-xip by Vladimir Barinov - Add various new mux registers - Move OMAP specific serial defines back to serial.h Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
