2008-04-12LSM: Make the Labeled IPsec hooks more stack friendlyPaul Moore
The xfrm_get_policy() and xfrm_add_pol_expire() put some rather large structs on the stack to work around the LSM API. This patch attempts to fix that problem by changing the LSM API to require only the relevant "security" pointers instead of the entire SPD entry; we do this for all of the security_xfrm_policy*() functions to keep things consistent. SKF_ADF_NLATTR searches for a netlink attribute, which avoids manually parsing and walking attributes. It takes the offset at which to start searching in the 'A' register and the attribute type in the 'X' register and returns the offset in the 'A' register. When the attribute is not found it returns zero. 2008-04-08ssb: Add support for block-I/OMichael Buesch
This adds support for block based I/O to SSB. This is needed in order to efficiently support PIO data transfers to the card. The block-I/O support is only compiled, if it's selected by the weird driver that needs it. So there's no overhead for sane devices. One way of solving the issue is to enhance Kbuild, but Avi and David conviced me, that changing headers_install is not the way to go. This patch changes the definition for linux/kvm.h to unifdef-y. If  unifdef-y is used for linux/kvm.h "make headers_check" will fail on all architectures without asm/kvm.h. Therefore, this patch also provides asm/kvm.h on all architectures. Recent driver core change causes references to parent devices being dropped early, at device_del() time, as opposed to when all children are freed. This causes oops in evdev with grabbed devices.
