2013-12-06net/*: Fix FSF address in file headersJeff Kirsher
Several files refer to an old address for the Free Software Foundation in the file header comment. Resolve by replacing the address with the URL <http://www.gnu.org/licenses/> so that we do not have to keep updating the header comments anytime the address changes. 2011-08-11Bluetooth: bnep: Fix deadlock in session deletionPeter Hurley
Commit f4d7cd4a4c introduced the usage of kthread API. kthread_stop is a blocking function which returns only when the thread exits. In this case, the thread can't exit because it's waiting for the write lock, which is being held by bnep_del_connection() which is waiting for the thread to exit -- deadlock. Use atomic_t/wake_up_process instead to signal to the thread to exit. 2011-04-05Bluetooth: Use kthread API in bnepSzymon Janc
kernel_thread() is a low-level implementation detail and EXPORT_SYMBOL(kernel_thread) is scheduled for removal. Use the <linux/kthread.h> API instead. Signed-off-by: Szymon Janc <szymon.janc@tieto.com> Signed-off-by: Gustavo F. Padovan <padovan@profusion.mobi>

2009-01-07bluetooth: driver API updateStephen Hemminger
Convert to net_device_ops and use internal net_device_stats in bnep device. Note: no need for bnep_net_ioctl since if ioctl is not set, then dev_ifsioc handles it by returning -EOPNOTSUPP Signed-off-by: Stephen Hemminger <shemminger@vyatta.com> Acked-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org> Signed-off-by: David S. 2008-11-30Bluetooth: Enable per-module dynamic debug messagesMarcel Holtmann
With the introduction of CONFIG_DYNAMIC_PRINTK_DEBUG it is possible to allow debugging without having to recompile the kernel. This patch turns all BT_DBG() calls into pr_debug() to support dynamic debug messages. As a side effect all CONFIG_BT_*_DEBUG statements are now removed and some broken debug entries have been fixed. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
