2019-06-06ASoC: samsung: smdk_wm8994pcm: use modern dai_link styleKuninori Morimoto
ASoC is now supporting modern style dai_link (= snd_soc_dai_link_component) for CPU/Codec/Platform. This patch switches to use it. Signed-off-by: Kuninori Morimoto <kuninori.morimoto.gx@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2019-04-19ASoC: samsung: smdk_wm8994*: Convert to SPDX License IdentifierSylwester Nawrocki
Replace GPL v2.0+ license statements with SPDX license identifier. Signed-off-by: Sylwester Nawrocki <s.nawrocki@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2016-08-08ASoC: samsung: Remove unused now unused struct s3c_dma_paramsSylwester Nawrocki
There is no user of this data structure now, all users have been converted to use struct snd_dmaengine_dai_dma_data instead. Signed-off-by: Sylwester Nawrocki <s.nawrocki@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2015-01-06ASoC: smdk_wm8994pcm: Use static DAI format setupLars-Peter Clausen
Set the dai_fmt field in the dai_link struct instead of manually calling snd_soc_dai_fmt(). This makes the code cleaner and shorter. Signed-off-by: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2014-10-20ASoC: samsung: drop owner assignment from platform_driversWolfram Sang
A platform_driver does not need to set an owner, it will be populated by the driver core. Signed-off-by: Wolfram Sang <wsa@the-dreams.de>
2014-05-22ASoC: samsung: Use devm_snd_soc_register_cardTushar Behera
Replace snd_soc_register_card with devm_snd_soc_register_card. With this change, we can delete the empty remove functions. Signed-off-by: Tushar Behera <tushar.behera@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@linaro.org>
2013-05-12ASoC: Samsung: Remove redundant platform_set_drvdata()Sachin Kamat
Commit 0998d06310 (device-core: Ensure drvdata = NULL when no driver is bound) removes the need to set driver data field to NULL. Signed-off-by: Sachin Kamat <sachin.kamat@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com>
2012-12-10ASoC: Samsung: remove __dev* attributesBill Pemberton
CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As result the __dev* markings will be going away. Remove use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata, __devinitconst, and __devexit. Signed-off-by: Bill Pemberton <wfp5p@virginia.edu> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com>
2012-12-07ASoC: Samsung: Do not register samsung audio dma device as pdevPadmavathi Venna
Previously, the ASoC 'platform' (PCM/DMA) object was instantiated via a platform_device. This didn't represent the hardware well, since there was no separate hardware associated with this platform_device; it was a virtual device with sole purpose to call snd_soc_register_platform(). This change removes the platform_device completely. Each Samsung DAI now registers the ASoC 'platform' itself. Machine drivers are adjusted for the new 'platform' name. 2011-12-22ASoC: samsung: Add .owner to struct snd_soc_cardAxel Lin
Missed .owner of struct snd_soc_card will prevent the module from being removed from underneath its users. Reported-by: Lothar Waßmann <LW@KARO-electronics.de> Signed-off-by: Axel Lin <axel.lin@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com>
2011-11-29ASoC: Convert smdk_wm8994pcm to use module_platform_driver()Axel Lin
Use the module_platform_driver() macro which makes the code smaller and a bit simpler. Signed-off-by: Axel Lin <axel.lin@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com>
2011-10-31sound: Add module.h to the previously silent sound usersPaul Gortmaker
Lots of sound drivers were getting module.h via the implicit presence of it in <linux/device.h> but we are going to clean that up. So fix up those users now. Signed-off-by: Paul Gortmaker <paul.gortmaker@windriver.com>
2011-06-26ASoC: SAMSUNG: Add WM8994 PCM Machine driverSangbeom Kim
This patch add WM8994 PCM machine driver to support PCM audio on SMDKV310, SMDKC210 boards. Playback and Capture supports 8kHz sampling rates. and It is tested on SMDKV310, SMDKC210.
