From f52ec8df5a440a438ed4b151c297f0295f8bbe21 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Matthew Wilcox Date: Tue, 27 Jan 2009 17:38:51 +0100 Subject: ACPI: Change acpi_evaluate_integer to support 64-bit on 32-bit kernels commit 27663c5855b10af9ec67bc7dfba001426ba21222 upstream As of version 2.0, ACPI can return 64-bit integers. The current acpi_evaluate_integer only supports 64-bit integers on 64-bit platforms. Change the argument to take a pointer to an acpi_integer so we support 64-bit integers on all platforms. lenb: replaced use of "acpi_integer" with "unsigned long long" lenb: fixed bug in acpi_thermal_trips_update() Signed-off-by: Matthew Wilcox Signed-off-by: Len Brown Cc: Thomas Renninger Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman --- include/acpi/acpi_bus.h | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) (limited to 'include') diff --git a/include/acpi/acpi_bus.h b/include/acpi/acpi_bus.h index a5ac0bc7f52e..c52f10dee367 100644 --- a/include/acpi/acpi_bus.h +++ b/include/acpi/acpi_bus.h @@ -46,7 +46,7 @@ acpi_extract_package(union acpi_object *package, acpi_status acpi_evaluate_integer(acpi_handle handle, acpi_string pathname, - struct acpi_object_list *arguments, unsigned long *data); + struct acpi_object_list *arguments, unsigned long long *data); acpi_status acpi_evaluate_reference(acpi_handle handle, acpi_string pathname, -- cgit v1.2.3
