On Verdin AM62, systemd could not derive a predictable name from the
device and fell back to one based on its MAC address. The layer
therefore removed mac from the global NamePolicy.

Current kernels expose the device tree Ethernet aliases needed for
stable names. Stop changing the global systemd policy now that the
AM62-specific reason for the workaround no longer exists.

fstrim is enabled because tdxref images install util-linux-fstrim
through the tdxref CLI packagegroup. The service and timer packaging
therefore belong with the image policy that selects the package.

Move the append to meta-toradex-demos so reference images keep
scheduled fstrim after meta-toradex-distro is removed from the tdxref
setup.

<title>systemd: move Toradex udev defaults to meta-toradex-demos</title>

The udev automount permissions and network link naming policy affect
how reference images behave at runtime. They are not distro selection
logic, and tdxref already has a systemd append in meta-toradex-demos.

Merge the Toradex defaults there so accessible automounts and non-MAC
interface names stay in tdxref images without needing
meta-toradex-distro.

The journald, syslog, and wired-network files are reference-image
runtime defaults, not distro selection logic.

Place the files in meta-toradex-demos to clean things up and to move
away from needing meta-toradex-distro at all.

<title>systemd-compat-units: drop bbappend</title>

openembedded-core removed support for systemd-compat-units.
As we added a bbappend with commit 9a2bb052672b ("systemd-compat-units:
ensure that postinst is run") this results in a failed build.

Also the removal makes the bbappend obsolete as now we shouldn't have
a race condition causing the onetime postinst task to never run.

"networkd" is already a default PACKAGECONFIG [1], there is no need to
add it again.

"acl" is using deprecated meson configurations that were already fixed
in oe-core, there is no need to keep them here [2].

This PACKAGECONFIG does not exist anymore, it was dropped in oe-core
master branhc in commit c01205e7a481 ("dropbear: upgrade 2024.86 -&gt;

There is no point in keeping this bbappend anymore.
