2016-04-25configs: Re-sync with cmd/KconfigTom Rini
Update the config.h and defconfig files for the commands that 8e3c036 converted over to Kconfig Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2016-04-25configs: Re-sync almost all of cmd/KconfigTom Rini
This syncs up the current cmd/Kconfig and include/configs/ files with the only exception being CMD_NAND. Due to how we have used this historically we need to take further care here when converting. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2016-04-25configs: Re-sync HUSH optionsTom Rini
Move all cases of CONFIG_SYS_HUSH_PARSER out of the config.h files. Remove all cases of CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT_HUSH_PS2 as everyone uses the default. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2016-03-22defconfig: Reorder boards' defconfig filesBin Meng
Some boards' defconfig files are out of order. Clean this up. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> Acked-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com>
2016-03-17x86: gpio: Allow the pinctrl driver to set up the pin configSimon Glass
Rather than setting up the pin configuration in the GPIO driver, use the new pinctrl driver to do it. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
2016-03-14Kconfig: Move CONFIG_FIT and related options to KconfigSimon Glass
There are already two FIT options in Kconfig but the CONFIG options are still in the header files. We need to do a proper move to fix this. Move these options to Kconfig and tidy up board configuration: CONFIG_FIT CONFIG_OF_BOARD_SETUP CONFIG_OF_SYSTEM_SETUP CONFIG_FIT_SIGNATURE CONFIG_FIT_BEST_MATCH CONFIG_FIT_VERBOSE CONFIG_OF_STDOUT_VIA_ALIAS CONFIG_RSA Unfortunately the first one is a little complicated. We need to make sure this option is not enabled in SPL by this change. Also this option is enabled automatically in the host builds by defining CONFIG_FIT in the image.h file. To solve this, add a new IMAGE_USE_FIT #define which can be used in files that are built on the host but must also build for U-Boot and SPL. Note: Masahiro's moveconfig.py script is amazing. 2016-03-14Correct defconfig orderingSimon Glass
Various boards have the wrong Kconfig ordering now. To avoid a misleading diff in the next patch, reorder the configuration correctly. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2016-01-19vsprintf.c: Always enable CONFIG_SYS_VSNPRINTFTom Rini
Enabling this function always removes some class of string saftey issues. The size change here in general is about 400 bytes and this seems a reasonable trade-off. 2015-11-25sf: Move SPI flash drivers to defconfigBin Meng
There are already Kconfig options for SPI flash drivers, but we have not moved them from config.h to defconfig files. This commit does this in a batch. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>

2015-10-21x86: galileo: Enable mrc cacheBin Meng
Now that we have added MRC cache on quark support codes, enable it on Intel Galileo board. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> Acked-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2015-09-16x86: galileo: Enable random mac address for QuarkBin Meng
Not like other Intel Ethernet controllers (e.g.: E1000), Intel Quark SoC integrated designware Ethernet controller does not have a chipset defined way to store/restore mac address. Enable random mac address so that we can use Ethernet even without 'ethaddr'. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> Acked-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>

2015-08-18of: flip CONFIG_SPL_DISABLE_OF_CONTROL into CONFIG_SPL_OF_CONTROLMasahiro Yamada
As we discussed a couple of times, negative CONFIG options make our life difficult; CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH, CONFIG_SYS_DCACHE_OFF, ... and here is another one. Now, there are three boards enabling OF_CONTROL on SPL: - socfpga_arria5_defconfig - socfpga_cyclone5_defconfig - socfpga_socrates_defconfig This commit adds CONFIG_SPL_OF_CONTROL for them and deletes CONFIG_SPL_DISABLE_OF_CONTROL from the other boards to invert the logic. 2015-06-25Move defaults from config_cmd_default.h to KconfigJoe Hershberger
This sets the default commands Kconfig to match include/config_cmd_default.h commands in the common/Kconfig and removes them from include/configs. Signed-off-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com> [trini: rastaban, am43xx_evm_usbhost_boot, am43xx_evm_ethboot updates] Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2015-06-25Move default y configs out of arch/board KconfigJoe Hershberger
Some archs/boards specify their own default by pre-defining the config which causes the Kconfig system to mix up the order of the configs in the defconfigs... This will cause merge pain if allowed to proliferate. Remove the configs that behave this way from the archs. A few configs still remain, but that is because they only exist as defaults and do not have a proper Kconfig entry. Those appear to be: SPIFLASH DISPLAY_BOARDINFO Signed-off-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com> [trini: rastaban, am43xx_evm_usbhost_boot, am43xx_evm_ethboot updates, drop DM_USB from MSI_Primo81 as USB_MUSB_SUNXI isn't converted yet to DM] Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2015-06-10dts: Disable device tree for SPL on all boardsSimon Glass
We plan to enable device tree in SPL by default. Before doing this, explicitly disable it for all boards. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2015-06-04x86: quark: Implement PIRQ routingBin Meng
Intel Quark SoC has the same interrupt routing mechanism as the Queensbay platform, only the difference is that PCI devices' INTA/B/C/D are harcoded and cannot be changed freely. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> Acked-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2015-06-01net: Move the CMD_NET config to defconfigsJoe Hershberger
This also selects CONFIG_NET for any CONFIG_CMD_NET board. Remove the imx default for CONFIG_NET. This moves the config that was defined by 60296a8 (commands: add more command entries in Kconfig). Signed-off-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com>
2015-05-12Clean all defconfigs with savedefconfigJoe Hershberger
In order to reduce merge conflicts and to maintain the simplest possible defconfig files, we should be using the savedefconfig feature of Kconfig every time a new feature is added. This keeps the defconfig settings to a minimum (only those things not default) and keeps them in the same order as the Kconfig options. 2015-04-29x86: Kconfig: Remove deprecated CONFIG_SYS_EXTRA_OPTIONSBin Meng
Currently all x86 boards still use CONFIG_SYS_EXTRA_OPTIONS to define the text base address. Since it is deprecated, just remove it and use CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE directly. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> Acked-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2015-04-29x86: Kconfig: Divide the target selection to vendor/modelBin Meng
Let arch/x86/Kconfig prompt board vendor first, then select the board model under that vendor. This way arch/x86/Kconfig only needs concern board vendor and leave the supported target list to board/<vendor>/Kconfig. 2015-04-18Kconfig: Move CONFIG_DESIGNWARE_ETH to KconfigSimon Glass
