2014-09-24kconfig: move CONFIG_CC_OPTIMIZE_LIBS_FOR_SPEED to KconfigMasahiro Yamada
If this option is enabled, the objects under lib/ directory are compiled with speed optimization, not size optimization. (Currently, only used by some Blackfin boards.) 2014-03-07kbuild, blackfin: Add CONFIG_CC_OPTIMIZE_LIBS_FOR_SPEEDMasahiro Yamada
Many (but not all) of Blackfin boards give -O2 option to compile under lib/ directory. That means lib/ should be speed-optimized, whereas other parts should be size-optimized. We want to keep the same behavior, but do not want to parse board/*/config.mk again and again. We've got no choice but to invent a new method. CONFIG_CC_OPTIMIZE_LIBS_FOR_SPEED, if it is enabled, gives -O2 flag only for building under lib/ directory. Dirty codes which I had marked as "FIX ME" in board/${BOARD}/config.mk have been deleted. Instead, CONFIG_CC_OPTIMIZE_LIBS_FOR_SPEED has been defined in include/configs/${BOARD}.h. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.m@jp.panasonic.com> Cc: Sonic Zhang <sonic.zhang@analog.com>
2011-10-05board configs: drop NET_MULTI referencesMike Frysinger
Now that none of the core checks CONFIG_NET_MULTI, there's not much point in boards defining it. So scrub all references to it. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
2011-04-08Blackfin: move CONFIG_BFIN_CPU back to board config.hMike Frysinger
This is a revert of 821ad16fa9900c as Wolfgang doesn't like the new code. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
2010-10-02Blackfin: move CONFIG_BFIN_CPU to board config.mkMike Frysinger
The CONFIG_BFIN_CPU option is largely used in the build system, so move it out of the board config.h and into the board config.mk. It'd be nice to keep everything in the config.h, but the patch to extract that value early was rejected. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
2010-04-07Blackfin: cm-bf561: update network/env settingsHarald Krapfenbauer
Switch to the SMC911X driver by default now, and fix LDR env settings. Signed-off-by: Harald Krapfenbauer <Harald.Krapfenbauer@bluetechnix.at> Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
2010-01-17Blackfin: update tiny board settings (voltage/default env)Harald Krapfenbauer
The tinyboards like to run at a little lower voltage than the default, and they prefer to boot over the network. For the latter, extend the common code a little to make this easier. Also fix the cm-bf527 env sector size while we're in here to reflect the flash that is actually in use. 2009-10-04Convert SMC91111 Ethernet driver to CONFIG_NET_MULTI APIBen Warren
All in-tree boards that use this controller have CONFIG_NET_MULTI added Also: - changed CONFIG_DRIVER_SMC91111 to CONFIG_SMC91111 - cleaned up line lengths - modified all boards that override weak function in this driver - modified all eeprom standalone apps to work with new driver - updated blackfin standalone EEPROM app after testing Signed-off-by: Ben Warren <biggerbadderben@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>

2009-07-10Blackfin: cm-bf561: add example settings for EXT-BF5xx-USB-ETH2 add-onHarald Krapfenbauer
The cm-bf561 module can easily hook up to the EXT-BF5xx-USB-ETH2 extender board, so add a simple example of how to do that in the board config. Signed-off-by: Harald Krapfenbauer <Harald.Krapfenbauer@bluetechnix.at> Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
2009-06-14Blackfin: convert specific pre/post config headers to common methodMike Frysinger
The Blackfin port was using asm/blackfin-config-{pre,post}.h to setup common Blackfin board defines. The common method now is to use config.h, so convert blackfin-config-post.h to that. Rename the still Blackfin specific blackfin-config-pre.h to config-pre.h so the naming conventions at least line up. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
