2024-09-04dt-bindings: apple,aic: Document A7-A11 compatiblesNick Chan
Document and describe the compatibles for Apple A7-A11 SoCs. There are three feature levels: - apple, aic: No fast IPI, for A7-A10 - apple,t8015-aic: fast IPI, global only, for A11 - apple,t8103-aic: fast IPI with local and global support, for M1 Each feature level is an extension of the previous, for example, M1 will also work with the A7 feature level. All of A7-M1 gets its own SoC-specific compatible, and the "apple, aic" compatible as a fallback. 2022-12-06dt-bindings: Drop type from 'cpus' propertyRob Herring
'cpus' is a common property, and it is now defined in dtschema schemas, so drop the type references in the tree. 2022-09-13dt-bindings: apple, aic: Fix required item "apple,fiq-index" in affinity ↵Janne Grunau
description The required list used "fiq-index" instead of "apple,fiq-index" described as property and used in the dts. Add the missing "apple," prefix. 2022-02-07dt-bindings: apple, aic: Add affinity description for per-cpu pseudo-interruptsMarc Zyngier
Some of the FIQ per-cpu pseudo-interrupts are better described with a specific affinity, the most obvious candidate being the CPU PMUs. Augment the AIC binding to be able to specify that affinity in the interrupt controller node. Reviewed-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Marc Zyngier <maz@kernel.org>
2022-02-07dt-bindings: apple,aic: Add CPU PMU per-cpu pseudo-interruptsMarc Zyngier
Advertise the two pseudo-interrupts that tied to the two PMU flavours present in the Apple M1 SoC. We choose the expose two different pseudo-interrupts to the OS as the e-core PMU is obviously different from the p-core one, effectively presenting two different devices. 2021-12-02dt-bindings: interrupt-controller: apple, aic: Add power-domains propertyHector Martin
This will bind to the PMGR pwrstate nodes that control power/clock gating to SoC blocks. The AIC driver doesn't do runtime-pm and likely never will (since it is system-critical), but it makes sense to describe the power domain relationship the devicetree properly.
