2026-03-11dt-bindings: media: i2c: Add Sony IMX355Richard Acayan
The IMX355 camera sensor is a camera sensor that can be found as the front camera in some smartphones, such as the Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 3a, and Pixel 3a XL. It already has a driver, but needs support for device tree. Document the IMX355 to support defining it in device tree. 2026-03-11dt-bindings: media: mt9m114: document MI1040 sensorSvyatoslav Ryhel
The Aptina MI1040 is a slightly different version of the MT9M114 camera module. It is used in several devices, such as the ASUS Nexus 7 (2012) and the ASUS Transformer Prime TF201. The compatible "onnn,mt9m114" is placed first in the enum, as it is considered the default compatible value. 2026-03-11media: dt-bindings: ti,ds90ub960: Add support for DS90UB954-Q1Yemike Abhilash Chandra
DS90UB954-Q1 is an FPDLink-III deserializer that is mostly register compatible with DS90UB960-Q1. The main difference is that it supports half of the RX and TX ports, i.e. 2x FPDLink RX ports and 1x CSI TX port. Therefore, add support for DS90UB954 within the existing bindings. 2026-03-11media: dt-bindings: ti,ds90ub960: Refactor port definitionsYemike Abhilash Chandra
The current bindings duplicate the port definitions for each FPD-Link RX and CSI-2 TX ports. This results in a large amount of repeated schema blocks and makes it harder to extend the bindings for new devices. Refactor the bindings by introducing shared deftinitions for FPD-Link input ports and CSI-2 output ports. No functional change intended. 2026-01-13media: dt-bindings: adi,adv7180: add VPP and CSI register mapsMichael Tretter
Different variants of the ADV7280 chip have up to three register maps. The availability of the CSI and VPP register maps depends on the chip variant. The address of the additional register maps depends on the board design and other chips on the I2C but. They may be programmed via registers in the main register map. Allow to specify the addresses of the VPP and CSI register maps in the device tree to solve I2C address conflicts on a board level. The CSI and VPP register maps are always optional to allow backwards compatibility with existing device trees which may rely on the default address. 2025-05-06media: dt-bindings: sony,imx290: Update usage exampleNiklas Söderlund
Since commit 98e0500eadb7 ("media: i2c: imx290: Add configurable link frequency and pixel rate") the driver expects two specific link-frequency settings 2-lane (445500000, 297000000) and 4-lane (222750000, 148500000) operation. The driver fails to probe without these exact settings. Update the example in the bindings to match this to make it easier for users to incorporate this sensor in their device tree descriptions without having to read the driver sources when the driver fails to probe. 2025-04-25media: dt-bindings: ti,ds90ub960: Allow setting serializer addressJai Luthra
The serializer's I2C address on the FPD-Link bus is usually communicated to the deserializer once the forward-channel is established. But in some cases it might be necessary to program the serializer (over the back-channel) before the forward-channel is established. This can be used e.g. to correct serializer configuration which otherwise would prevent the FC to be enabled. To be able to communicate to the serializer before the forward-channel is up, the deserializer driver neds to know the default i2c address of the serializer. Allow setting the serializer i2c address using the 'reg' property. This is optional, and usually not needed.
