2025-07-24PCI: endpoint: Add RC-to-EP doorbell support using platform MSI controllerFrank Li
Implement the doorbell feature by mapping the EP's MSI interrupt controller message address to a dedicated BAR. The EPF driver should pass the actual message data to be written to the message address by the host through implementation-specific logic. 2018-11-23PCI: consolidate PCI config entry in drivers/pciChristoph Hellwig
There is no good reason to duplicate the PCI menu in every architecture. Instead provide a selectable HAVE_PCI symbol that indicates availability of PCI support, and a FORCE_PCI symbol to for PCI on and the handle the rest in drivers/pci. 2018-01-26PCI: Add SPDX GPL-2.0 when no license was specifiedBjorn Helgaas
b24413180f56 ("License cleanup: add SPDX GPL-2.0 license identifier to files with no license") added SPDX GPL-2.0 to several PCI files that previously contained no license information. Add SPDX GPL-2.0 to all other PCI files that did not contain any license information and hence were under the default GPL version 2 license of the kernel. 2017-04-11PCI: endpoint: Add EP core layer to enable EP controller and EP functionsKishon Vijay Abraham I
Introduce a new EP core layer in order to support endpoint functions in linux kernel. This comprises the EPC library (Endpoint Controller Library) and EPF library (Endpoint Function Library). EPC library implements functions specific to an endpoint controller and EPF library implements functions specific to an endpoint function.
