ASoC: Fixes for v7.3
An unusually large batch of fixes here, partly due to me not sending a
pull request last week and partly due to Linus' fixes for the Ericsson
systems. I'm fairly sure he's the only user there so it seemed low risk
to handle as fixes. We also have a batch of error handling fixes from
Cezary and issues with uninitialised stream_config->type from Shuming
both of which had user error reports attached. Otherwise everything is
a fairly normal combination of quirks and device specific fixes.

snd_hdac_ext_stream_init_all() does not rollback changes done when
the allocation fails. Fix that to simplify its usage.

snd_hdac_ext_bus_get_ml_capabilities() allocates the hlink nodes
one-by-one but the procedure may fails due to -ENOMEM in the middle of
it. Clean up the list before returning the error code to simply the
function usage.

Before commit 7639a06c23c7 ("ALSA: hda - Move a part of hda_codec stuff
into hdac_device"), widget enumeration selected the function group with
codec->afg ? codec->afg : codec->mfg
and read subordinate nodes from that group.
The core split moved this logic into snd_hdac_refresh_widgets(), but
hard-coded codec->afg there. For an MFG-only codec, codec->afg is zero,
so the Root Node is queried and codec->start_nid/num_nodes are populated
from the function-group range instead of the MFG's subordinate nodes.
Restore the pre-split AFG-or-MFG selection.

Lisuan GPUs expose an HD-audio controller at PCI ID 4c54:5010 and an
HDMI/DP codec with codec ID 0x4c545020. Neither ID is currently matched
by the HDA stack, leaving HDMI/DP audio unavailable on these devices.
The existing downstream support uses the generic HDMI codec path and
attaches no Lisuan-specific capability flags to the controller. Its
dedicated AZX driver type only changes the short driver name.
Use the corresponding generic upstream paths instead: bind 4c54:5010 to
AZX_DRIVER_GENERIC, register 0x4c545020 as MODEL_GENERIC, and add the
Lisuan codec vendor name. This keeps the enablement minimal and avoids
a vendor-only AZX driver type with no vendor-specific behavior.

snd_hdac_ext_stream_reset() polls PPLCCTL for STRST by masking the
register value with AZX_PPLCCTL_STRST:
val = readl(...) & AZX_PPLCCTL_STRST;
The same masked value is then used when clearing STRST. Since val
contains no bits other than STRST, clearing STRST from it always
produces zero. The subsequent writel() therefore writes zero to the
entire PPLCCTL register instead of clearing only the reset bit.
PPLCCTL contains other stream control fields, including the stream tag
in AZX_PPLCCTL_STRM_MASK. Those fields must not be modified as a side
effect of clearing stream reset.
Use snd_hdac_updatel() to clear STRST, matching the existing set-reset
path and preserving all unrelated PPLCCTL bits.

hda_bus_match() has an unreachable 'return 1' after an if/else that
covers both branches. Remove the superfluous return and simplify the
control flow by dropping the else branch.
hdac_codec_match() uses a redundant if/else to return 1 or 0.
Simplify to a single return statement.

The stream descriptor status register reports FIFO and descriptor
errors, but these are currently cleared silently along with the rest
of the interrupt status. Log them, rate-limited, so DMA problems are
visible instead of only manifesting as audible glitches.
Observed on some AMD GPU HDMI audio controllers under specific low power
circumstances.

Intel HD Audio defines Coefficient Index and Processing Coefficient as
separate audio widget controls in the Audio Widget Verb Definitions:
Coefficient Index selects the coefficient slot, while Processing
Coefficient accesses the value at the selected slot.
hda_reg_read_coef() selects the slot with AC_VERB_SET_COEF_INDEX, but
then uses AC_VERB_GET_COEF_INDEX for the value read. That reads back the
selected index instead of the coefficient value. hda_reg_write_coef()
has the same issue and builds the value write from AC_VERB_GET_COEF_INDEX
instead of AC_VERB_SET_PROC_COEF.
This only affects the regmap coefficient cache path used by codecs that
set codec->cache_coef. Direct coefficient helpers already use the normal
SET_COEF_INDEX followed by GET_PROC_COEF or SET_PROC_COEF sequence, which
is likely why this has not been noticed widely.
Use AC_VERB_GET_PROC_COEF for cached coefficient reads and
AC_VERB_SET_PROC_COEF for cached coefficient writes.

The current error handling in snd_hdac_bus_alloc_stream_pages()
returns directly on failure without cleaning up already allocated
resources. While callers are supposed to release those via
snd_hdac_bus_free_stream_pages() at destructor, adding explicit
cleanup makes the function more self-contained and safer against
future misuse.
Add proper error cleanup path using goto labels to free previously
allocated BDL DMA buffers, position buffer, and ring buffer in
reverse allocation order.

The various struct pci_device_id arrays were initialized mostly by list
expressions, some of them using the PCI_DEVICE macros. This isn't easily
readable if you're not into PCI. Using named initializers is more
explicit and thus easier to parse. Also use PCI_DEVICE* helper macros to
assign .vendor, .device, .subvendor and .subdevice where appropriate and
skip explicit assignments of 0 (which the compiler takes care of).
The secret plan is to make struct pci_device_id::driver_data an
anonymous union (similar to
https://lore.kernel.org/all/cover.1776579304.git.u.kleine-koenig@baylibre.com/)
and that requires named initializers. But it's also a nice cleanup on
its own.
This change doesn't introduce changes to the compiled pci_device_id
array. Tested on x86 and arm64.

At parsing the channel mapping for HDMI, the current code may spew
WARN_ON() unnecessarily for the case where only invalid (zero) channel
maps are given from the hardware. Drop WARN_ON() and reorganize the
code a bit for avoiding the hdmi_slot over the array size.

This converts some of the visually simpler cases that have been split
over multiple lines. I only did the ones that are easy to verify the
resulting diff by having just that final GFP_KERNEL argument on the next
line.
Somebody should probably do a proper coccinelle script for this, but for
me the trivial script actually resulted in an assertion failure in the
middle of the script. I probably had made it a bit _too_ trivial.
So after fighting that far a while I decided to just do some of the
syntactically simpler cases with variations of the previous 'sed'
scripts.
The more syntactically complex multi-line cases would mostly really want
whitespace cleanup anyway.

This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using
git grep -l '\<k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'
to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.
Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.
For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:
Single allocations: kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with: kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)
Array allocations: kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with: kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)
Flex array allocations: kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with: kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)
(where TYPE may also be *VAR)
The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

While the used GML is consistent with the pattern for other Intel * Lake
SoCs, the de facto use is GLK. Update the acronym and users accordingly.
Note, a handful of the drivers for Gemini Lake in the Linux kernel use
GLK already (LPC, MEI, pin control, SDHCI, ...) and even some in ASoC.
The only ones in this patch used the inconsistent one.

When config table entries don't match with the device to be probed,
currently we fall back to SND_INTEL_DSP_DRIVER_ANY, which means to
allow any drivers to bind with it.
This was set so with the assumption (or hope) that all controller
drivers should cover the devices generally, but in practice, this
caused a problem as reported recently. Namely, when a specific
kconfig for SOF isn't set for the modern Intel chips like Alderlake,
a wrong driver (AVS) got probed and failed. This is because we have
entries like:

set. If not set, there is no matching entry, hence it returns
SND_INTEL_DSP_DRIVER_ANY as fallback. OTOH, if the kconfig is set, it
explicitly falls back to SND_INTEL_DSP_DRIVER_LEGACY when no DMIC or
SoundWire is found -- that was the working scenario. That being said,
the current setup may be broken for modern Intel chips that are
supposed to work with either SOF or legacy driver when the
corresponding kconfig were missing.
For addressing the problem above, this patch changes the fallback
driver to the legacy driver, i.e. return SND_INTEL_DSP_DRIVER_LEGACY
type as much as possible. When CONFIG_SND_HDA_INTEL is also disabled,
the fallback is set to SND_INTEL_DSP_DRIVER_ANY type, just to be sure.

Add bus addr_offset field for dma address translation,
for some SoCs such as CIX SKY1 which is ARM64 Arch, HOST
and HDAC has different memory view, so need to do dma address
translation between HOST and HDAC.

For Intel SKL and KBL platforms, it may be bound with one of three
HD-audio drivers (AVS, SOF and legacy). AVS is the preferred one when
DMIC is detected, and that's how it's defined in the snd-intel-dspcfg
config table.
But, when AVS driver is disabled (CONFIG_SND_SOC_INTEL_AVS=n), the
device may be bound freely with either SOF or legacy driver.
Before 6.17, the legacy driver took it primarily, but on 6.17, likely
due to the recent code shuffling, SOF driver seems taking it at first,
and fails to probe. For avoiding the regression, we should enforce to
bind those with the legacy HD-audio drvier when AVS is disabled.
This patch adds the extra two entries in intel-dspcfg table that are
applied only when CONFIG_SND_SOC_INTEL_AVS=n, for binding with the
legacy driver.
Note that there are entries for APL in that config table block, but
APL may be supported by SOF for certain setups, so the choice can't be
exclusive. Hence this patch includes only SKL and KBL.

Pull timer cleanups from Thomas Gleixner:
"A treewide cleanup of struct cycle_counter const annotations.
The initial idea of making them const was correct as they were
seperate instances. When they got embedded into larger data
structures, which are even modified by the callback this got moot. The
only reason why this went unnoticed is that the required
container_of() casts the const attribute forcefully away.

CONFIG_SND_HDA_PREALLOC_SIZE is used only by controller.c in
sound/hda/common, hence it depends on CONFIG_SND_HDA.
Move the definition to the right place inside SND_HDA if/endif block
in sound/hda/common/Kconfig.

This is a part of HD-audio code restructuring.
Simply move the current code of sound/hda/* into the subdirectory
sound/hda/core, so that more stuff can be moved into sound/hda cleanly
later.
Most of file names with hdac_ and hdac_ext_ prefix are renamed without
the prefix, since they can be identified well in the directory name
and superfluous.
