When bringing in the series 'arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay
Ethernet"' I failed to notice that b4 noticed it was based on next and
so took that as the base commit and merged that part of next to master.
This reverts commit c8ffd1356d42223cbb8c86280a083cc3c93e6426, reversing
changes made to 2ee6f3a5f7550de3599faef9704e166e5dcace35.

Use the common GSC driver.
This allows us to do some additional cleanup:
- use the GSC driver functions
- move waiting for the EEPROM to the SPL int (it will always be ready
after this)
- move eeprom functions into eeprom file and elimate GSC_I2C_BUS
- eliminate some redundant EEPROM reads (the EEPROM must be read in
SPL before relocation, in SPL after relocation, and in U-Boot init.
All subsequent uses can use the global structure)
- remove unnecessary header files and alphabatize includes

DM is not used for the SPL and a generic DT is used in the SPL
which requires no fixups. Remove the call in the SPL and move the function
into the U-Boot code.

Since DM_SERIAL is used for U-Boot we no longer need legacy UART code in
common.c shared by the SPL and U-Boot. Move the legacy UART config to
the non-DM SPL.

- Move I2C config from common to SPL
- Move PMIC config from common to SPL (no need to re-configure pmic)

In the default pulse-skipping mode regulators that are very lightly
loaded can fail to regulate properly. Switching them to always use
continuous mode causes only around 10mW of overall system power
difference in a lightly loaded system that isn't already operating
them in continuous mode.

In the default 'auto' mode regulators that are very lightly loaded
can be put in PFM mode and fail to regulator properly. Switching them
to always use continuous PWM mode has a neglibable affect on system
power and garuntees proper regulation under lightly loaded circumstances.

Substitutions in EOL parts changes the VDD_2P5 voltage rail such that
the previously unused VGEN6 LDO is needed in place of the lower power
VGEN5 for the GW54xx-G.

Enable dm support for USB (which also requires dm support for fixed
regulators used for vbus enable) and remove usb iomux which is no
longer needed.
We can remove the handling of otgpwr_en gpio as this is defined in
dt as usbotg vbus-supply but we need to keep the handling of
USB_HUB_RST# for boards that have a USB HUB as that isn't defined in
the dt's currently.

The Linux coding style guide (Documentation/process/coding-style.rst)
clearly says:
It's a **mistake** to use typedef for structures and pointers.
Besides, using typedef for structures is annoying when you try to make
headers self-contained.
Let's say you have the following function declaration in a header:
void foo(bd_t *bd);
This is not self-contained since bd_t is not defined.
To tell the compiler what 'bd_t' is, you need to include <asm/u-boot.h>
#include <asm/u-boot.h>
void foo(bd_t *bd);
Then, the include direcective pulls in more bloat needlessly.
If you use 'struct bd_info' instead, it is enough to put a forward
declaration as follows:
struct bd_info;
void foo(struct bd_info *bd);
Right, typedef'ing bd_t is a mistake.
I used coccinelle to generate this commit.

It is bad practice to include common.h in other header files since it can
bring in any number of superfluous definitions. It implies that some C
files don't include it and thus may be missing CONFIG options that are set
up by that file. The C files should include these themselves.
Update some header files in arch/arm to drop this.

Do not setup I2C3 in the SPL for Ventana as some devices on that bus
(aic3x codecs) can hang the bus causing i2c_setup to spin endlessly until
they are put into reset. Removing the setup of I2C3 from the SPL allows
the board-specific GPIO to be configured to take care of putting codecs
in reset prior to U-Boot setting up I2C3.

The only UART that is garunteed on Ventana boards is UART2 (serial-console).
Remove UART1 pinmux as that it is not consistent across all Ventana boards
and U-Boot doesn't need it.

When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and
there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the
area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it
with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the
Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first
line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line)
and with slightly different comment styles than us.
In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility
and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style.
This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared
license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag
contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag
and have introduced one.

We are now using an env_ prefix for environment functions. Rename these
two functions for consistency. Also add function comments in common.h.
Quite a few places use getenv() in a condition context, provoking a
warning from checkpatch. These are fixed up in this patch also.

Change is consistent with other SOCs and it is in preparation
for adding SOMs. SOC's related files are moved from cpu/ to
mach-imx/<SOC>.
This change is also coherent with the structure in kernel.

The variable nfc_pads is only referenced when CONFIG_CMD_NAND is set,
move the existing guard and drop a now redundant comment. The variable
gwproto_gpio_pads is never referenced, remove it.

This is only used by one board and should not be a CONFIG option. Instead
it should use the driver model pmic framework. For now, just move the
setting into the only board that uses it.
