2024-10-14md5: Remove md5 non-watchdog APIRaymond Mao
We don't need an API specially for non-watchdog since md5_wd supports it by disabling CONFIG_HW_WATCHDOG and CONFIG_WATCHDOG. Set 0x10000 as default chunk size for MD5. 2024-05-20Restore patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"Tom Rini
As part of bringing the master branch back in to next, we need to allow for all of these changes to exist here. Reported-by: Jonas Karlman <jonas@kwiboo.se> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2024-05-19Revert "Merge patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet""Tom Rini
When bringing in the series 'arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"' I failed to notice that b4 noticed it was based on next and so took that as the base commit and merged that part of next to master. This reverts commit c8ffd1356d42223cbb8c86280a083cc3c93e6426, reversing changes made to 2ee6f3a5f7550de3599faef9704e166e5dcace35. 2024-05-07board: intel: Remove <common.h> and add needed includesTom Rini
Remove <common.h> from this board vendor directory and when needed add missing include files directly. Acked-by: Andy Shevchenko <andriy.shevchenko@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2020-12-16x86: edison: Switch to DM_USB_GADGETAndy Shevchenko
DM is the modern default approach for the drivers in U-Boot. It also allows to configure code via Device Tree. Move Intel Edison to use DM_USB_GADGET and drop hard coded values. 2019-08-09x86: edison: Enable SD slotAndy Shevchenko
Enable SD slot on Intel Edison platform. By default firmware doesn't put device on active state. Thus, we have to do this explicitly. Signed-off-by: Andy Shevchenko <andriy.shevchenko@linux.intel.com> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2018-04-27Remove unnecessary instances of DECLARE_GLOBAL_DATA_PTRTom Rini
We have a large number of places where while we historically referenced gd in the code we no longer do, as well as cases where the code added that line "just in case" during development and never dropped it. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2017-08-16env: Rename getenv/_f() to env_get()Simon Glass
We are now using an env_ prefix for environment functions. Rename these two functions for consistency. Also add function comments in common.h. Quite a few places use getenv() in a condition context, provoking a warning from checkpatch. These are fixed up in this patch also. 2017-07-30x86: Add Intel Edison board filesAndy Shevchenko
Add Intel Edison board which is using U-Boot. The patch is based on work done by the following people (in alphabetical order): Aiden Park <aiden.park@intel.com> Dukjoon Jeon <dukjoon.jeon@intel.com> eric.park <eric.park@intel.com> Fabien Chereau <fabien.chereau@intel.com> Felipe Balbi <felipe.balbi@linux.intel.com> Scott D Phillips <scott.d.phillips@intel.com> Sebastien Colleur <sebastienx.colleur@intel.com> Steve Sakoman <steve.sakoman@intel.com> Vincent Tinelli <vincent.tinelli@intel.com> In case we're building for Intel Edison, we must have 4096 bytes of zeroes in the beginning on u-boot.bin. This is done in board/intel/edison/config.mk. First run sets hardware_id environment variable which is read from System Controller Unit (SCU). Serial number (serial# environment variable) is generated based on eMMC CID. MAC address on USB network interface is unique to the board but kept the same all over the time. Set mac address from U-Boot using following scheme: OUI = 02:00:86 next 3 bytes of MAC address set from eMMC serial number This allows to have a unique mac address across reboot and flashing.
