2023-12-21global: Rework architecture global_data.h to include <linux/types.h>Tom Rini
In most cases, the architecture global data currently makes use of assorted linux types, but does not include <linux/types.h> to provide them. Add <linux/types.h> instead of relying on indirect inclusion. Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2023-11-16nand: Calculate SYS_NAND_BLOCK_PAGES (neé SYS_NAND_PAGE_COUNT) automaticallySean Anderson
Contrary to what the help message says, this is the number of pages per block. Calculate it automatically based on SYS_NAND_BLOCK_SIZE and SYS_NAND_PAGE_SIZE. To better reflect its semantics, rename it to SYS_NAND_BLOCK_PAGES. Signed-off-by: Sean Anderson <seanga2@gmail.com>
2023-10-06spl: Avoid #ifdef with CONFIG_SPL_PAYLOAD_ARGS_ADDRSimon Glass
Move the condition to the header file to improve readability. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2023-10-06spl: Avoid #ifdef with CONFIG_SPL_SYS_MALLOCSimon Glass
Use IF_ENABLED_INT() to avoid needing to use the preprocessor. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2023-10-06spl: Use CONFIG_SPL... instead of CONFIG_..._SPL_...Simon Glass
We like to put the SPL first so it is clear that it relates to SPL. Rename various malloc-related options which have crept in, to stick to this convention. 2022-12-05global: Move remaining CONFIG_SYS_* to CFG_SYS_*Tom Rini
The rest of the unmigrated CONFIG symbols in the CONFIG_SYS namespace do not easily transition to Kconfig. In many cases they likely should come from the device tree instead. Move these out of CONFIG namespace and in to CFG namespace. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>

2022-06-06Convert CONFIG_SYS_SPL_MALLOC_SIZE et al to KconfigTom Rini
This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_SYS_SPL_MALLOC_SIZE CONFIG_SYS_SPL_MALLOC_START We introduce a default value here as well, and CONFIG_SYS_SPL_MALLOC to control if we have a malloc pool or not. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2022-06-06Migrate CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR to Kconfig using system-constants.hTom Rini
- Make all users of CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR reference SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR - Introduce HAS_CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR to allow for setting the stack pointer directly, otherwise we use the common calculation. - On some platforms that were using the standard calculation but did not set CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_SIZE / CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_ADDR, set them. - On a small number of platforms that were not subtracting GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE do so now via the standard calculation. - CONFIG_SYS_INIT_SP_OFFSET is now widely unused, so remove it from most board config header files. 2022-06-06Introduce include/system-constants.hTom Rini
We have a number of CONFIG symbols today that are of the form: SYM1 = CONST1 + CONST2 or other static math operations (shifts, etc). The issue is that by moving these to Kconfig we no longer have the ability to calculate these values, so they become less flexible and useful. It's also the case that sometimes a platform will just define SYM1 directly or perform a slightly different set of calculations. We introduce this header now to have a place to start to handle these cases. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
