2025-02-11test: Drop suites.hSimon Glass
This file is empty now. Remove it and its uses. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2025-02-11test: Drop the function for running bootstd testsSimon Glass
Use the new suite-runner to run these tests instead. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2025-02-11test: Update bootstd to do init from testsSimon Glass
Rather than having an init function and then running the tests, create a test-init function to do it. This will allow us to get rid of the command function. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2025-01-24test: Pass the test state to cmd_ut_category()Simon Glass
Update this function to access a unit-test state, so that the caller can collect results from running multiple suites. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2025-01-24test: Drop the _test suffix on linker listsSimon Glass
Most test suites have a _test suffix. This is not necessary as there is also a ut_ prefix. Drop the suffix so that (with future work) the suite name can be used as the linker-list name. Remove the suffix from the pytest regex as well, moving it to the top of the file, as it is a constant. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2024-09-18bootstd: Create a function to reset USBSimon Glass
Set up a function for this, since it needs to be used from multiple test files. This test file is only used on sandbox, where USB is enabled, so drop the local declaration of usb_started Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2024-05-20Restore patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"Tom Rini
As part of bringing the master branch back in to next, we need to allow for all of these changes to exist here. Reported-by: Jonas Karlman <jonas@kwiboo.se> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2024-05-19Revert "Merge patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet""Tom Rini
When bringing in the series 'arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"' I failed to notice that b4 noticed it was based on next and so took that as the base commit and merged that part of next to master. This reverts commit c8ffd1356d42223cbb8c86280a083cc3c93e6426, reversing changes made to 2ee6f3a5f7550de3599faef9704e166e5dcace35. Reported-by: Jonas Karlman <jonas@kwiboo.se> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2024-05-06test: Remove <common.h> and add needed includesTom Rini
Remove <common.h> from all "test/" files and when needed add missing include files directly. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2024-03-04bootstd: fix build error when CONFIG_MMC is disabledDan Carpenter
This code assumes that CONFIG_MMC and it causes a build error when the config is disabled. aarch64-linux-gnu-ld.bfd: test/boot/bootstd_common.o: in function `bootstd_test_check_mmc_hunter': test/boot/bootstd_common.c:83:(.text.bootstd_test_check_mmc_hunter+0x70): undefined reference to `_u_boot_list_2_bootdev_hunter_2_mmc_bootdev_hunter' Fixes: 66e3dce78750 ("bootstd: Allow hunting for a bootdev by label") Signed-off-by: Dan Carpenter <dan.carpenter@linaro.org>
2023-01-23bootstd: Allow hunting for a bootdev by labelSimon Glass
Add a function to hunt for a bootdev label and find the bootdev produced by the hunter (or already present). Add a few extra flags so that we can distinguish between "mmc1", "mmc" and "1" which all need to be handled differently. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2022-10-17test: Move common FIT code into a separate fit_util fileSimon Glass
To avoid duplicating code, create a new fit_util module which provides various utility functions for FIT. Move this code out from the existing test_fit.py and refactor it with addition parameters. Fix up pylint warnings in the conversion. This involves no functional change. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2022-10-17bootstd: Move VBE setup into a shared functionSimon Glass
This information needs to be set up by the bootstd tests as well. Move it into a common function and ensure it is executed before any bootstd test is run. Make sure the 'images' parameter is set correctly for fixups. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2022-04-25bootstd: Add tests for bootstd including all uclassesSimon Glass
Add a set of combined tests for the bootdev, bootflow and bootmeth commands, along with associated functionality. Expand the sandbox console-recording limit so that these can work. These tests rely on a filesystem script which is not yet added to the Python tests. It is included here as a shell script. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
