2024-08-26test: Drop the blank line before test macrosSimon Glass
Most tests don't have this. It helps to keep the test declaration clearly associated with the function it relates to, rather than the next one in the file. Remove the extra blank line and mention this in the docs. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2024-08-26test: Rename unit-test flagsSimon Glass
The UT_TESTF_ macros read as 'unit test test flags' which is not right. Rename to UTF ('unit test flags'). This has the benefit of being shorter, which helps keep UNIT_TEST() declarations on a single line. Give the enum a name and reference it from the UNIT_TEST() macros while we are here. 2024-05-20Restore patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"Tom Rini
As part of bringing the master branch back in to next, we need to allow for all of these changes to exist here. Reported-by: Jonas Karlman <jonas@kwiboo.se> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2024-05-19Revert "Merge patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet""Tom Rini
When bringing in the series 'arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"' I failed to notice that b4 noticed it was based on next and so took that as the base commit and merged that part of next to master. This reverts commit c8ffd1356d42223cbb8c86280a083cc3c93e6426, reversing changes made to 2ee6f3a5f7550de3599faef9704e166e5dcace35. 2024-05-06test: Remove <common.h> and add needed includesTom Rini
Remove <common.h> from all "test/" files and when needed add missing include files directly. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>

2023-12-15test: dm: clk_ccf: test ccf_clk_opsYang Xiwen
Assign ccf_clk_ops to .ops of clk_ccf driver so that it can act as an clk provider. Also add "#clock-cells=<1>" to its device tree node. Add "i2c_root" to clk_test in the device tree and driver for testing. Get "i2c_root" clock in CCF unit tests and add tests for it. 2020-09-22clk: bind clk to new parent deviceClaudiu Beznea
Clock re-parenting is not binding the clock's device to its new parent device, it only calls the clock's ops->set_parent() API. The changes in this commit re-parent the clock device to its new parent so that subsequent operations like clk_get_parent() to point to the proper parent. 2020-08-24clk: ccf: mux: change the get_rate helperDario Binacchi
The previous version of the get_rate helper does not work if the mux clock parent is changed after the probe. This error has not been detected because this condition has not been tested. The error occurs because the set_parent helper does not change the parent of the clock device but only the clock selection register. Since changing the parent of a probed device can be tricky, the new version of the get_rate helper provides the rate of the selected clock and not that of the parent. 2020-08-24clk: set flags in the ccf registration routinesDario Binacchi
The top-level framework flags are passed as parameter to the common clock framework (ccf) registration routines without being used. Checks of the flags setting added by the patch have been added in the ccf test. Signed-off-by: Dario Binacchi <dariobin@libero.it>
2020-08-24dm: test: clk: add the test for the ccf gated clockDario Binacchi
Unlike the other clock types, in the case of the gated clock, a new driver has been developed which does not use the registering routine provided by the common clock framework. The addition of the ecspi0 clock to sandbox therefore allows testing the ccf gate clock. Signed-off-by: Dario Binacchi <dariobin@libero.it> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-08-07dm: Rename DM test flags to make them more genericSimon Glass
The test flags used by driver model are currently not available to other tests. Rather than creating two sets of flags, make these flags generic by changing the DM_ prefix to UT_ and moving them to the test.h header. This will allow adding other test flags without confusion. 2020-08-03dm: core: Drop header files from dm/test.hSimon Glass
These header file should not be included in other header files. Remove them and add to each individual file. Add test/test.h to test/ui.h since that is a reasonable place. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>

2019-07-19clk: sandbox: Add sandbox test code for Common Clock Framework [CCF]Lukasz Majewski
This patch provides code to implement the CCF clock tree in sandbox. It uses all the introduced primitives; some generic ones are reused, some sandbox specific were developed. In that way (after introducing the real CCF tree in sandbox) the recently added to clk-uclass.c: clk_get_by_id() and clk_get_parent_rate() are tested in their natural work environment. Usage (sandbox_defconfig and sandbox_flattree_defconfig): ./u-boot --fdt arch/sandbox/dts/test.dtb --command "ut dm clk_ccf" Signed-off-by: Lukasz Majewski <lukma@denx.de>
