2025-05-29global: Avoid indirect inclusion of <env.h> from <command.h>Tom Rini
The include file <command.h> does not need anything from <env.h>. Furthermore, include/env.h itself includes other headers which can lead to longer indirect inclusion paths. To prepare to remove <env.h> from <command.h> fix all of the places which had relied on this indirect inclusion to instead include <env.h> directly. 2024-08-26test: Rename unit-test flagsSimon Glass
The UT_TESTF_ macros read as 'unit test test flags' which is not right. Rename to UTF ('unit test flags'). This has the benefit of being shorter, which helps keep UNIT_TEST() declarations on a single line. Give the enum a name and reference it from the UNIT_TEST() macros while we are here. 2024-05-20Restore patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"Tom Rini
As part of bringing the master branch back in to next, we need to allow for all of these changes to exist here. Reported-by: Jonas Karlman <jonas@kwiboo.se> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2024-05-19Revert "Merge patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet""Tom Rini
When bringing in the series 'arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"' I failed to notice that b4 noticed it was based on next and so took that as the base commit and merged that part of next to master. This reverts commit c8ffd1356d42223cbb8c86280a083cc3c93e6426, reversing changes made to 2ee6f3a5f7550de3599faef9704e166e5dcace35. 2024-05-06test: Remove <common.h> and add needed includesTom Rini
Remove <common.h> from all "test/" files and when needed add missing include files directly. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2023-07-17dm: test: Add test for part_get_info_by_typeJoshua Watt
Adds a test suite to ensure that part_get_info_by_type works correctly by creating a hybrid GPT/MBR partition table and reading both. Improve the logging when the partition test fails so that it is clear what went wrong, shown with actual values. Signed-off-by: Joshua Watt <JPEWhacker@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2023-07-17dm: test: Fix partition test to use mmc2Joshua Watt
d94d9844bc ("dm: part: Update test to use mmc2") attempted to make the test use mmc2, but the change was incomplete in that it didn't also change the strings that reference a specific partition. Fix these so that the test passes again Signed-off-by: Joshua Watt <JPEWhacker@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Jaehoon Chung <jh80.chung@samsung.com>
2023-01-23part: Add a function to find the first bootable partitionSimon Glass
If a disk has a bootable partition we are expected to use it to locate the boot files. Add a function to find it. To test this, update mmc1 to have two paritions, fixing up other tests accordingly. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2023-01-23dm: part: Update test to use mmc2Simon Glass
At present this test sets up a partition table on mmc1. But this is used by the bootstd tests, so it is not possible to run those after this test has run, without restarting the Python test harness. This is inconvenient when running tests repeatedly with 'ut dm'. Move the test to use mmc2, which is not used by anything. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2023-01-23dm: test: Correct assertion in dm_test_part()Simon Glass
This obscures the line number. Update the test to avoid make sure that the line which failed is displayed, so it is possible to diagnose the failure. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2021-05-26part: Add check for NULL dev_part_strSean Anderson
Some callers (e.g. cmd/fs.c) of fs_set_blk_dev may use a NULL dev_part_str. While blk_get_device_part_str handles this fine, part_get_info_by_dev_and_name does not. This fixes commands crashing when implicitly using bootdevice. The unit test has also been updated to set bootdevice to a known value and to restore it after we are done. 2021-04-22test: Add test for partitionsSean Anderson
This is technically a library function, but we use MMCs for testing, so it is easier to do it with DM. At the moment, the only block devices in sandbox are MMCs (AFAIK) so we just test with those. Signed-off-by: Sean Anderson <sean.anderson@seco.com>
