2025-09-18arm64: dts: apple: Add J180d (Mac Pro, M2 Ultra, 2023) device treeHector Martin
The M2 Ultra in the Mac Pro differs from the M2 Ultra Mac Studio in its PCIe setup. It uses all available 16 PCIe Gen4 on the first die and 8 PCIe Gen4 lanes on the second die to connect to a 100 lane Microchip Switchtec PCIe switch. All internal PCIe devices and the PCIe slots are connected to the PCIe switch. Each die implements a PCIe controller with a single 16 or 8 lane port. The PCIe controller is mostly compatible with existing implementation in pcie-apple.c. The resources for other 8 lanes on the second die are used to connect the NVMe flash with the controller in the SoC. This initial device tree does not include PCIe support. 2025-09-18arm64: dts: apple: Add J474s, J475c and J475d device treesJanne Grunau
Add device trees for the M2 Pro Mac mini and the M2 Max and Ultra Mac Studio. These devices are very similar to the M1 Max and Ultra Mac Studio so reuse the device template, include the .dtsi for the new SoCs and correct for the minimal differences. 2025-08-31arm64: dts: apple: Add devicetreee for t8112-j415Janne Grunau
The 15-inch M2 MacBook Air was released a year after the 13-inch one thus missed in initial submission of devicetrees for M2 based devices. It is currently a copy of t8112-j413 with edited identifiers but will eventually differ in a meaningful way. It has for example a different speaker configuration than the 13-inch model. 2023-03-28arm64: dts: apple: t8112: Initial t8112 (M2) device treesHector Martin
This adds device trees for the following devices: - Macbook Air (M2, 2022) - Macbook Pro 13" (M2, 2022) - Mac mini (M2, 2023) This brings the hardware support of the machines to the same level as M1 and M1 Pro / Max / Ultra. Supported hardware include NVMe, PCIe, serial, pinctrl/gpio, I2C, iommu, watchdog, admac, nco, cpufreq, boot framebuffer for laptop panels and the interrupt controller. The ethernet LAN device on the M2 Mac mini is the only working PCIe device. The Wlan/BT devices are powered off and controlled by the not yet supported SMC. The ASMedia xHCI on the M2 Mac mini requires firmware to be loaded at startup. The main missing hardware support to make these devices useful are the integrated USB 2/3/4 controller, keyboard and trackpad on the laptops and SMC to power the PCIe Wlan/BT device on. The M2 Mac mini has currently no working display output. Due to changes in the display pipeline it is currently not possible to initialize the HDMI output in the bootloader.
