2025-07-10adc: Tighten some adc driver dependenciesTom Rini
A few adc drivers cannot build without access to some platform specific header files. Express those requirements in Kconfig as well. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2024-08-09dm: adc: Add SPL_ADC Kconfig symbol for use of ADC in SPLJonas Karlman
What model of Radxa ZERO 3W/3E board can be identified using ADC at runtime, add a Kconfig symbol to allow use of ADC in SPL. This will be used to identify board model in SPL to allow loading correct FIT configuration and FDT for U-Boot proper at SPL phase. 2024-03-14adc: add missing depends on ADC for controller driversQuentin Schulz
The ADC controller drivers are obviously all depending on ADC symbol being selected. While they don't seem to fail to build without, they won't be useful without that symbol selected, so let's make sure the options aren't shown in menuconfig when ADC isn't selected. 2023-10-18dm: adc: imx93-adc depends on ADC (fix boot)Sébastien Szymanski
The i.MX93 11x11 EVK fails to boot with following error: Model: NXP i.MX93 11X11 EVK board DRAM: 2 GiB Error binding driver 'imx93-adc': -96 Some drivers failed to bind Error binding driver 'simple_bus': -96 Some drivers failed to bind Error binding driver 'simple_bus': -96 Some drivers failed to bind initcall sequence 00000000fffb8f28 failed at call 000000008021e0d4 (err=-96) ### ERROR ### Please RESET the board ### That's because since commit e7ff54d96303 ("imx93_evk: defconfig: add adc support") CONFIG_ADC_IMX93 is enabled but CONFIG_ADC is not. Fix this by enabling CONFIG_ADC in imx93_11x11_evk_defconfig. Make sure this situation won't happen again in future i.MX93 defconfig by making CONFIG_ADC_IMX93 depend on CONFIG_ADC. 2023-07-13dm: adc: add iMX93 ADC supportLuca Ellero
This commit adds driver for iMX93 ADC. The driver is implemented using driver model and provides ADC uclass's methods for ADC single channel operations: - adc_start_channel() - adc_channel_data() - adc_stop() ADC features: - channels: 4 - resolution: 12-bit Signed-off-by: Luca Ellero <l.ellero@asem.it> Reviewed-by: Haibo Chen <haibo.chen@nxp.com>
2018-08-03adc: Add driver for STM32 ADCFabrice Gasnier
This patch adds support for STMicroelectronics STM32 ADC (analog to digital converter). It's originally based on Linux kernel v4.18-rcs drivers/iio/adc/stm32-adc*. It's composed of: - core driver (UCLASS_SIMPLE_BUS) manages common resources (clk, regu). - child drivers (UCLASS_ADC) declare each ADC, channels and handle conversions. This driver currently supports STM32H7 and STM32MP1 ADC. Signed-off-by: Fabrice Gasnier <fabrice.gasnier@st.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2018-05-08adc: add Amlogic Meson SAR ADC driverNeil Armstrong
This patch adds the driver for the Amlogic Meson Successive Approximation Register (SAR) A/D Converter based on the Linux IIO driver thanks to the great work of Martin Blumenstingl. The driver has been adapted to U-Boot and the ADC UClass. This patch depends on the regmap "regmap: add regmap_update_bits() helper" patch and has been tested using the newly introducted "adc" CLI command in the "cmd: add ADC cli commands" patch. 2017-10-01dm: adc: Add driver for Rockchip SARADCDavid Wu
The ADC can support some channels signal-ended some bits Successive Approximation Register (SAR) A/D Converter, like 6-channel and 10-bit. It converts the analog input signal into some bits binary digital codes.
