2024-05-07cache: Remove <common.h> and add needed includesTom Rini
Remove <common.h> from this driver directory and when needed add missing include files directly. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2023-05-06drivers: use dev_read_addr_ptr when cast to pointerJohan Jonker
The fdt_addr_t and phys_addr_t size have been decoupled. A 32bit CPU can expect 64-bit data from the device tree parser, so use dev_read_addr_ptr instead of the dev_read_addr function in the various files in the drivers directory that cast to a pointer. As we are there also streamline the error response to -EINVAL on return. Signed-off-by: Johan Jonker <jbx6244@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2023-02-17driver: cache-v5l2: Fix type casting warning on RV32Yu Chien Peter Lin
This patch fixes following warning for the riscv32 toolchain. drivers/cache/cache-v5l2.c:122:16: warning: cast to pointer from integer of different size [-Wint-to-pointer-cast] 122 | regs = (struct l2cache *)dev_read_addr(dev); | ^ Signed-off-by: Yu Chien Peter Lin <peterlin@andestech.com> Reviewed-by: Leo Yu-Chi Liang <ycliang@andestech.com>

The L2C configuration register has MAP field to indicate its version is v0 (Gen1) or v1 (Gen2) L2-cache. This patch makes the driver compatible with both memory-mapped scheme. 2021-02-02common: Drop asm/global_data.h from common headerSimon Glass
Move this out of the common header and include it only where needed. In a number of cases this requires adding "struct udevice;" to avoid adding another large header or in other cases replacing / adding missing header files that had been pulled in, very indirectly. Finally, we have a few cases where we did not need to include <asm/global_data.h> at all, so remove that include. 2020-12-13dm: treewide: Rename ofdata_to_platdata() to of_to_plat()Simon Glass
This name is far too long. Rename it to remove the 'data' bits. This makes it consistent with the platdata->plat rename. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-12-13dm: treewide: Rename dev_get_platdata() to dev_get_plat()Simon Glass
Rename this to be consistent with the change from 'platdata'. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-12-13dm: treewide: Rename 'platdata' variables to just 'plat'Simon Glass
We use 'priv' for private data but often use 'platdata' for platform data. We can't really use 'pdata' since that is ambiguous (it could mean private or platform data). Rename some of the latter variables to end with 'plat' for consistency. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-12-13dm: treewide: Rename auto_alloc_size members to be shorterSimon Glass
This construct is quite long-winded. In earlier days it made some sense since auto-allocation was a strange concept. But with driver model now used pretty universally, we can shorten this to 'auto'. This reduces verbosity and makes it easier to read. Coincidentally it also ensures that every declaration is on one line, thus making dtoc's job easier. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-05-18common: Drop linux/bitops.h from common headerSimon Glass
Move this uncommon header out of the common header. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-01-17common: Move hang() to the same header as panic()Simon Glass
At present panic() is in the vsprintf.h header file. That does not seem like an obvious choice for hang(), even though it relates to panic(). So let's put hang() in its own header. 2019-09-03dm: cache: add v5l2 cache controller driverRick Chen
Add a v5l2 cache controller driver that is usually found on Andes RISC-V ae350 platform. It will parse the cache settings from the dtb. In this version tag and data ram control timing can be adjusted by the requirement from the dtb.
