2023-12-13pico-imx7d: add baseboard SD card boot detectBenjamin Szőke
Technexion PICO-IMX7 SoM is supporting USDHC3 (eMMC or micro SD on SoM) and USDHC1 (SD on carrier board) to use on any carrier board like PICO-NYMPH. Based on the U-Boot version from Technexion it adds baseboard SD card boot detect to able to boot from selected USDHC1 or USDHC3 boot devices. 2023-12-13imx7d-pico-pi-u-boot.dtsi: Fix aliases indentationFabio Estevam
The aliases are currently indented using spaces. Fix it to use the standard tab indentation. Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <festevam@denx.de>
2023-12-12pico-pi-imx7d: Convert to watchdog driver modelFabio Estevam
Commit 68dcbdd594d4 ("ARM: imx: Add weak default reset_cpu()") caused the 'reset' command in U-Boot to not cause a board reset. Fix it by switching to the watchdog driver model via sysreset, which is the preferred method for implementing the watchdog reset Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <festevam@denx.de>
2023-09-23imx7: Disable CAAM Job Ring 0Fabio Estevam
Trying to boot a fitImage after a successful hab_auth_img operation causes the following error: ## Loading kernel from FIT Image at 88000000 ... Using 'conf-imx7d-smegw01.dtb' configuration Trying 'kernel-1' kernel subimage Description: Linux kernel Type: Kernel Image Compression: uncompressed Data Start: 0x8800010c Data Size: 9901752 Bytes = 9.4 MiB Architecture: ARM OS: Linux Load Address: 0x80800000 Entry Point: 0x80800000 Hash algo: sha256 Hash value: 28f8779bbf010780f16dd3d84ecb9b604c44c5c2cf7acd098c264a2d3f68e969 Verifying Hash Integrity ... sha256Error in SEC deq CAAM was not setup properly or it is faulty error! The reason for this error is that the BootROM uses the CAAM Job Ring 0, so disable its node in U-Boot to avoid the resource conflict. imx8m dtsi files also have the Job Ring 0 disable since the following kernel commit: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/arch?h=v6.5&id=dc9c1ceb555ff661e6fc1081434600771f29657c For a temporary solution, disable the Job Ring 0 in imx7s-u-boot.dtsi. 2023-02-14dm: dts: Convert driver model tags to use new schemaSimon Glass
Now that Linux has accepted these tags, move the device tree files in U-Boot over to use them. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2023-01-06imx7d-pico: Fix the name of the u-boot.dtsi fileFabio Estevam
Since commit 2f96d4dd95f8 ("imx7s/d: synchronise device trees with linux") the imx7d-pico board no longer boots. The reason is that prior to the above commit there was an explicit inclusion of arch/arm/dts/imx7d-pico-u-boot.dtsi inside imx7d-pico.dtsi. After the syncing with the Linux upstream dtsi, this u-boot.dtsi inclusion is gone and the board fails to boot. U-Boot uses the imx7d-pico-pi.dtb file, so rename the u-boot.dtsi to imx7d-pico-pi-u-boot.dtsi which gets included automatically by U-Boot standard make logic and makes the board boot again.
