2024-05-20Restore patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"Tom Rini
As part of bringing the master branch back in to next, we need to allow for all of these changes to exist here. Reported-by: Jonas Karlman <jonas@kwiboo.se> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2024-05-19Revert "Merge patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet""Tom Rini
When bringing in the series 'arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"' I failed to notice that b4 noticed it was based on next and so took that as the base commit and merged that part of next to master. This reverts commit c8ffd1356d42223cbb8c86280a083cc3c93e6426, reversing changes made to 2ee6f3a5f7550de3599faef9704e166e5dcace35. 2024-05-06arm: imx: Remove <common.h> and add needed includesTom Rini
Remove <common.h> from all mach-imx, CPU specific sub-directories and include/asm/arch-mx* files and when needed add missing include files directly. Acked-by: Peng Fan <peng.fan@nxp.com> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2021-09-23lmb: Remove imx board_lmb_reserve()Marek Vasut
This function is clearly architecture specific code, not board specific code. The only difference from the previous arm arch_lmb_reserve() is the extra reservation of 16k of memory below the stack bottom, rather than the 4k. The common code now also uses 16k alignment. Remove this custom implementation, as it now behaves exactly as the common code. 2021-02-02common: Drop asm/global_data.h from common headerSimon Glass
Move this out of the common header and include it only where needed. In a number of cases this requires adding "struct udevice;" to avoid adding another large header or in other cases replacing / adding missing header files that had been pulled in, very indirectly. Finally, we have a few cases where we did not need to include <asm/global_data.h> at all, so remove that include. 2019-01-28imx: Fix potential lmb memory overwritten by stackYe Li
At default, u-boot reserves the memory from SP - 4KB to DRAM end for lmb in arch_lmb_reserve. So lmb won't allocate any memory from it. But we found the 4K gap for SP is not enough now, because some FDT updating operations are added in our u-boot before jumping to kernel, which needs larger stack. This causes the lmb allocated memory is overwritten by stack. Fix the issue by implementing the board_lmb_reserve to reserve from SP - 16KB to memory end for lmb. Signed-off-by: Ye Li <ye.li@nxp.com>
2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2017-07-12imx: reorganize IMX code as other SOCsStefano Babic
Change is consistent with other SOCs and it is in preparation for adding SOMs. SOC's related files are moved from cpu/ to mach-imx/<SOC>. This change is also coherent with the structure in kernel.
