2024-05-20Restore patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"Tom Rini
As part of bringing the master branch back in to next, we need to allow for all of these changes to exist here. Reported-by: Jonas Karlman <jonas@kwiboo.se> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2024-05-19Revert "Merge patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet""Tom Rini
When bringing in the series 'arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"' I failed to notice that b4 noticed it was based on next and so took that as the base commit and merged that part of next to master. This reverts commit c8ffd1356d42223cbb8c86280a083cc3c93e6426, reversing changes made to 2ee6f3a5f7550de3599faef9704e166e5dcace35. Remove <common.h> from this driver directory and when needed add missing include files directly. Reviewed-by: Jaehoon Chung <jh80.chung@samsung.com> Reviewed-by: Peter Robinson <pbrobinson@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2023-01-23sandbox: mmc: Start off with a zeroed fileSimon Glass
When running multiple tests the mmc emulator calls malloc() to obtain the memory for its disk image. Since the memory is not cleared, it is possible that it happens to contain a partition table. The dm_test_part() test (for one) relies on mmc0 being empty on startup. Zero the memory to ensure that it is. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2022-10-31dm: mmc: Allow sandbox emulator to build without writesSimon Glass
When MMC_WRITE is disabled this driver produced a build error. Fix this. Also update a comment while we are here. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Jaehoon Chung <jh80.chung@samsung.com>
2021-11-28sandbox: mmc: Support a backing fileSimon Glass
Provide a way for sandbox MMC to present data from a backing file. This allows a filesystem to be created on the host and easily served via an emulated mmc device. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2021-07-21sandbox: mmc: Support fixed MMC devicesSimon Glass
Add support for reading devicetree flags for MMC devices. With this we can distinguish between fixed and removable drives. Note that this information is only available when the device is probed, not when it is bound, since it is read in the of_to_plat() method. This could be changed if needed later. 2021-02-26mmc: sandbox: Add support for writingSean Anderson
This adds support writing to the sandbox mmc backed by an in-memory buffer. The unit test has been updated to test reading, writing, and erasing. I'm not sure what MMCs erase to; I picked 0, but if it's 0xFF then that can be easily changed. Signed-off-by: Sean Anderson <sean.anderson@seco.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-12-13dm: treewide: Rename dev_get_platdata() to dev_get_plat()Simon Glass
Rename this to be consistent with the change from 'platdata'. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-12-13dm: treewide: Rename 'platdata' variables to just 'plat'Simon Glass
We use 'priv' for private data but often use 'platdata' for platform data. We can't really use 'pdata' since that is ambiguous (it could mean private or platform data). Rename some of the latter variables to end with 'plat' for consistency. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-12-13dm: treewide: Rename auto_alloc_size members to be shorterSimon Glass
This construct is quite long-winded. In earlier days it made some sense since auto-allocation was a strange concept. But with driver model now used pretty universally, we can shorten this to 'auto'. This reduces verbosity and makes it easier to read. Coincidentally it also ensures that every declaration is on one line, thus making dtoc's job easier. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-05-18common: Drop log.h from common headerSimon Glass
Move this header out of the common header. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>

At present running sandbox with valgrind produces some warnings due to the MMC emulator not filling in all the expected fields. Fix it. 2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2018-04-27Remove unnecessary instances of DECLARE_GLOBAL_DATA_PTRTom Rini
We have a large number of places where while we historically referenced gd in the code we no longer do, as well as cases where the code added that line "just in case" during development and never dropped it. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2018-01-12dm: mmc: sandbox: Update SD card emulationJean-Jacques Hiblot
The SDcard initialization procedure does a few more things than it did earlier: * switch the bus width even for 1-bit bus width * check that speed has been properly set (in resp[4] of SD_CMD_SWITCH_FUNC) Update the SD simulator to handle those requests gracefully. These functions can be much simpler by squashing lines for immediate return. For *_bind() callbacks, they will be a simple wrapper function of an upper-level bind API. For mmc_set_{boot_bus_width,part_conf}, they will be a wrapper of mmc_switch(). Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com> Reviewed-by: Jaehoon Chung <jh80.chung@samsung.com>

2016-05-17dm: mmc: sandbox: Add an SD-card emulationSimon Glass
Add an emulation of an SD card to sandbox, allowing MMC to be used in tests. The emulation is very simple, supporting only card detection and reading test data. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2015-07-21dm: test: Add a test for the mmc uclassSimon Glass
Add a test to confirm that we can probe this device. Since there is no MMC stack support in sandbox at present, this is as far as the test goes. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
