2014-07-25ARM: omap: Remove unused arch/arm/cpu/armv7/omap3/mem.cStefan Roese
These functions have been merged into the common GPMC init code with this commit a0a37183 (ARM: omap: merge GPMC initialization code for all platform). The file is not compiled any more. So remove it as well. Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de> Cc: Pekon Gupta <pekon@ti.com> Cc: Tom Rini <trini@ti.com> Acked-by: Pekon Gupta <pekon@ti.com>
2014-06-06omap3: remove remnant macros GPMC_NAND_ECC_LP_x8_LAYOUT and ↵pekon gupta
GPMC_NAND_ECC_LP_x16_LAYOUT OMAP3 used GPMC_NAND_ECC_LP_x8_LAYOUT and GPMC_NAND_ECC_LP_x16_LAYOUT macros to configure GPMC controller for x7 or x8 bit device connected to its interface. Now this information is encoded in CONFIG_SYS_NAND_DEVICE_WIDTH macro, so above macros can be completely removed. Signed-off-by: Pekon Gupta <pekon@ti.com>
2013-07-26arm: omap3: spl: Fix problem with 8bit NAND devicesStefan Roese
Currently in OMAP3 SPL, the GPMC for NAND is configured for 16bit access. This patch adds support for 8bit NAND devices as well. Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de> Cc: Tom Rini <trini@ti.com>

2012-12-10omap3: Add a few comments to "#endif"s for readability.Robert P. J. Day
No functional changes, just more comments for readability when a preprocessor check spans more than a few lines, and for consistency. Signed-off-by: Robert P. J. Day <rpjday@crashcourse.ca>
2012-12-10omap3/mem.c: remove unused definesAndreas Bießmann
These GPMC_CS defines are a leftover from prior gpmc_init(). Commit 187af954 removed the need for these definitions but missed to remove them. Signed-off-by: Andreas Bießmann <andreas.devel@googlemail.com> Cc: Tom Rini <trini@ti.com>
2011-12-06OMAP3: Change mem_ok to clear again after reading backTom Rini
It's possible to need to call this function on the same banks multiple times so we want to be sure that 'pos A' is cleared out again at the end. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@ti.com>
2011-12-06omap3: mem: Comment enable_gpmc_cs_config moreTom Rini
Expand the "enable the config" comment to explain what the bit shifts are and define out two of the magic numbers. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@ti.com>
2011-04-27ARMV7: OMAP3: Cleanup extern variables in mem.cLuca Ceresoli
Removed boot_flash_* extern variables. boot_flash_type was totally unused. The other ones were actually constants, so they have been replaced with #defines in the board config files. 2010-07-05ARM: Rename arch/arm/cpu/arm_cortexa8 to armv7Steve Sakoman
The purpose of this patch is to prepare for adding the OMAP4 architecture, which is Cortex A9 Cortex A8 and A9 both belong to the armv7 architecture, hence the name change. The two architectures are similar enough that substantial code can be shared.
